For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James[ the son] of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas[ the brother] of James.These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for[ this] day[ is] holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth,[ let him do it] with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

When ye come together therefore into one place,[ this] is not to eat the Lord’s supper.For in eating every one taketh before[ other] his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise[ you] not.

And thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God, thou, and thy son, and thy daughter, and thy manservant, and thy maidservant, and the Levite that[ is] within thy gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that[ are] among you, in the place which the LORD thy God hath chosen to place his name there.

Servants, obey in all things[ your] masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:

Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.

And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed[ it], and brake, and gave to them.

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer,[ being] the ninth[ hour].

And when they heard[ that], they entered into the temple early in the morning, and taught. But the high priest came, and they that were with him, and called the council together, and all the senate of the children of Israel, and sent to the prison to have them brought.

But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.

And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.

And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that[ is] within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Servants, be obedient to them that are[ your] masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
