他們一進城，就到他們所住的樓上房間。在那裡有彼得、約翰、雅各、安得烈，腓力和多馬，巴多羅邁和馬太，亞勒腓的兒子雅各、激進派的西門、雅各的兒子猶大。這些人與一些婦女以及耶穌的母親瑪麗亞、耶穌的兄弟們一起，都同心合意地恆切禱告。

如果是勸勉的，就用在勸勉上；分享的，要慷慨；帶領的，要殷勤；憐憫人的，要甘心樂意。

常常在聖殿裡頌讚神。

這樣說來，你們聚集在一起，所吃的並不是主的晚餐，因為你們吃的時候，每個人都爭先吃自己的晚餐，甚至有人餓著，有人醉了。難道你們沒有家，可以在那裡吃喝嗎？還是你們輕視神的教會，羞辱那些沒有什麼的人呢？我要對你們怎麼說呢？要稱讚你們嗎？在這事上，我不稱讚你們。

你們做奴僕的，凡事都要順從自己在世上的主人，不要只在人眼前服事，像是討人的歡心，而要以忠實的心敬畏主。

去吧！歡歡喜喜地吃你的飯，心中快樂地喝你的酒；因為神已經悅納你所做的。

當耶穌與他們一同坐席的時候，他拿起餅來，祝福了，然後掰開遞給他們。

「眼睛是身體的燈，所以，如果你的眼睛純淨，你的全身就光明；

如果我懷著感恩的心領受，難道有什麼能使我為所感謝的東西而受到毀謗嗎？因此，你們無論或吃、或喝、或做什麼，一切都要為神的榮耀而做。

有一次，在下午三點禱告的時候，彼得和約翰上聖殿去。

他們聽從這話，在清晨的時候就進入聖殿教導人。這時，大祭司和與他在一起的人來了，他們召集了議會，就是以色列子民長老的全體議會，然後派人到監獄裡，要把使徒們帶來。

不過你們當把裡面的施捨給人，看哪，對你們來說一切就都潔淨了。

可是我擔心，恐怕你們的思想受到敗壞，離開對基督的忠實和貞潔，就像蛇用牠的詭計欺騙了夏娃那樣。

你們做奴僕的，要懷著敬畏和戰兢，以忠實的心順從自己在世上的主人，就像聽從基督一樣。
