For David says about him,‘ I saw the Lord always in front of me, for he is at my right hand so that I will not be shaken.

I constantly trust in the LORD; because he is at my right hand, I will not be upended.So my heart rejoices and I am happy; My life is safe.You will not abandon me to Sheol; you will not allow your faithful follower to see the Pit.You lead me in the path of life; I experience absolute joy in your presence; you always give me sheer delight.

But the sovereign LORD helps me, so I am not humiliated. For that reason I am steadfastly resolved; I know I will not be put to shame.The one who vindicates me is close by. Who dares to argue with me? Let us confront each other! Who is my accuser? Let him challenge me!Look, the sovereign LORD helps me. Who dares to condemn me? Look, all of them will wear out like clothes; a moth will eat away at them.

He alone is my protector and deliverer. He is my refuge; I will not be upended.

because he stands at the right hand of the needy, to deliver him from those who threaten his life.

For I am the LORD your God, the one who takes hold of your right hand, who says to you,‘ Don’t be afraid, I am helping you.’

And we proclaim to you the good news about the promise to our ancestors,that this promise God has fulfilled to us, their children, by raising Jesus, as also it is written in the second psalm,‘ You are my Son; today I have fathered you.’But regarding the fact that he has raised Jesus from the dead, never again to be in a state of decay, God has spoken in this way:‘ I will give you the holy and trustworthy promises made to David.’Therefore he also says in another psalm,‘ You will not permit your Holy One to experience decay.’For David, after he had served God’s purpose in his own generation, died, was buried with his ancestors, and experienced decay,

O sovereign LORD, at your right hand he strikes down kings in the day he unleashes his anger.

For the king trusts in the LORD, and because of the sovereign LORD’s faithfulness he is not upended.

Look, a time is coming– and has come– when you will be scattered, each one to his own home, and I will be left alone. Yet I am not alone, because my Father is with me.

“ Brothers, I can speak confidently to you about our forefather David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.So then, because he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn to him with an oath to seat one of his descendants on his throne,

But I am continually with you; you hold my right hand.
