But they opposed Paul. They treated him badly. So he shook out his clothes in protest. Then he said to them,“ God’s judgment against you will be your own fault! Don’t blame me for it! From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thy hand.Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

in meekness correcting them that oppose themselves; if peradventure God may give them repentance unto the knowledge of the truth,

wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them into the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:

And all the people answered and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

Or is God the God of Jews only? is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yea, of Gentiles also:

But into whatsoever city ye shall enter, and they receive you not, go out into the streets thereof and say,Even the dust from your city, that cleaveth to our feet, we wipe off against you: nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh.

And many other things spake they against him, reviling him.

And as many as receive you not, when ye depart from that city, shake off the dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who followed not after righteousness, attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith:but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, did not arrive at that law.Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by works. They stumbled at the stone of stumbling;even as it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence: And he that believeth on him shall not be put to shame.

For ye, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judæa in Christ Jesus: for ye also suffered the same things of your own countrymen, even as they did of the Jews;who both killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove out us, and please not God, and are contrary to all men;forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they may be saved; to fill up their sins always: but the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.

But when some were hardened and disobedient, speaking evil of the Way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus.And this continued for the space of two years; so that all they that dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks.

Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

And the man that lieth with his father’s wife hath uncovered his father’s nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.And if a man lie with his daughter- in- law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.

As he saith also in Hosea, I will call that my people, which was not my people; And her beloved, that was not beloved.And it shall be, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, There shall they be called sons of the living God.

Lay hands hastily on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.

But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with jealousy, and contradicted the things which were spoken by Paul, and blasphemed.And Paul and Barnabas spake out boldly, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you. Seeing ye thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee for a light of the Gentiles, That thou shouldest be for salvation unto the uttermost part of the earth.

And punishing them oftentimes in all the synagogues, I strove to make them blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto foreign cities.

Be it known therefore unto you, that this salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles: they will also hear.

If ye are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are ye; because the Spirit of glory and the Spirit of God resteth upon you.

I say then, Did they stumble that they might fall? God forbid: but by their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.Now if their fall is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?But I speak to you that are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I glorify my ministry;if by any means I may provoke to jealousy them that are my flesh, and may save some of them.For if the casting away of them is the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

But ye have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you, and themselves drag you before the judgment- seats?Do not they blaspheme the honorable name by which ye are called?

For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall surely be put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

but declared both to them of Damascus first, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the country of Judæa, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, as ye go forth out of that house or that city, shake off the dust of your feet.

And I say unto you, that many shall come from the east and the west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven:

And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests.

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek: for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich unto all that call upon him:for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Wherefore I testify unto you this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.For I shrank not from declaring unto you the whole counsel of God.
