遇見一個猶太人，名叫亞居拉，他生在本都；因為克勞第命猶太人都離開羅馬，新近帶着妻百基拉，從意大利來。保羅就投奔了他們。

我對你們舉薦我們的姊妹非比；她是堅革哩教會中的女執事。

向猶太人，我就作猶太人，為要得猶太人；向律法以下的人，我雖不在律法以下，還是作律法以下的人，為要得律法以下的人。

「你曉諭以色列人說：無論男女許了特別的願，就是拿細耳人的願，要離俗歸耶和華。

「在他一切許願離俗的日子，不可用剃頭刀剃頭，要由髮綹長長了。他要聖潔，直到離俗歸耶和華的日子滿了。在他離俗歸耶和華的一切日子，不可挨近死屍。他的父母或是弟兄姊妹死了的時候，他不可因他們使自己不潔淨，因為那離俗歸神的憑據是在他頭上。在他一切離俗的日子是歸耶和華為聖。「若在他旁邊忽然有人死了，以致沾染了他離俗的頭，他要在第七日，得潔淨的時候，剃頭。

以後我到了敘利亞和基利家境內。

他就走遍敘利亞、基利家，堅固眾教會。

他在會堂裏放膽講道；百基拉、亞居拉聽見，就接他來，將神的道給他講解更加詳細。

望見塞浦路斯，就從南邊行過，往敘利亞去，我們就在泰爾上岸，因為船要在那裏卸貨。

於是寫信交付他們，內中說：「使徒和作長老的弟兄們問安提阿、敘利亞、基利家外邦眾弟兄的安。
