好让他们寻求神，或许因此真能摸索而找到他。其实他离我们每一个人并不远，

God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.

其实神并不是没有为自己留下证据，因为他常行美善：从天上赐给你们雨水和丰收的季节，使你们食物充足，满心喜乐。”

原来，自从创世以来，神那不可见的本性，就是他永恒的大能和神性，都藉着所造之物，被人明白、被人看见，以致使人无法推诿。

这样，其余的人，就是所有被称为我名下的外邦人，都会寻求主。

难道你轻视神丰富的仁慈、宽容、耐心，不明白他的仁慈是引领你来悔改的吗？

耶和华啊，你已经洞察我，认识我！我坐下、我起来，你都知道；你从远方就知道我的意念。我行路、我躺卧，你都细察；你熟悉我的一切道路。耶和华啊，我舌头上的话还没有说，看哪，你已经完全知道了！你前后围绕我，把你的手按在我身上。这知识对我过于奇妙，过于高深，我不能达到。我去到哪里，能逃避你的灵呢？我逃到哪里，能躲避你的面呢？如果我升到天上，你在那里；如果我躺在阴间，看哪，你也在那里！如果我扬起黎明的翅膀，安居在海洋的尽头，纵然在那里，你的手仍引导我，你的右手也抓紧我。就算我说：“黑暗必然覆盖我，我周围的亮光也必变为黑夜”，但对你来说，黑暗也不是黑暗，黑夜如同白昼一样明亮，黑暗就像光明一样。是你创造了我的肺腑，在我母腹中编织了我。

诸天述说神的荣耀，穹苍宣告他手的作为。这日到那日涌出言语，这夜到那夜陈述知识。无言无语，无声无息。但它们的声音传遍全地，它们的言语传到地极。神在它们中间为太阳安设帐篷，太阳如同新郎出洞房，又如勇士欢然奔路。它从天这边出来，绕到天的那边，没有什么能在它的热气面前隐藏。
