耶稣又对他们说：“你们要到世界各地去，向全人类传扬福音。

保罗站起来向大家挥手示意，说：“各位以色列同胞和各位敬畏上帝的外族朋友们，请听我说。

耶稣看见这些人群，就上了山，刚坐下，门徒便走到祂跟前，祂就开口教导他们，说：

人若听从我、天天在我门口仰望、时时在我门边等候，就有福了。

保罗和巴拿巴一同进入以哥念的犹太会堂讲道，许多犹太人和希腊人信了耶稣。但那些顽梗不信的犹太人却怂恿外族人敌视信徒。二人在那里逗留了好些日子，靠着主勇敢地传道。主赐给他们行神迹奇事的能力，为祂的恩典之道做见证。城里的居民分成了两派，有些附和犹太人，有些支持使徒。

耶和华啊，我怒你所怒，无法容忍。耶和华说：“你把我的怒气发向街头的孩童和聚集成群的青年。丈夫、妻子和老人都要一同被掳。

智慧在大街上高喊，在广场上扬声，在热闹的市集宣告，在城门口演说：“你们愚昧人喜爱愚昧，嘲讽者以嘲弄为乐，无知者厌恶知识，要到什么时候呢？

因为那时的人都自私自利、贪爱钱财、狂妄自夸、骄傲自负、说毁谤话、违背父母、忘恩负义、心不圣洁、

有些虔诚人将司提凡埋葬了，为他大声痛哭。

他和全家都是虔诚敬畏上帝的人，他慷慨周济穷人，常常祷告。

虚有敬虔的外表，却无敬虔的实质。你要避开这样的人。
