信的人將有神蹟隨着他們：就是奉我的名趕鬼；說新方言；

耶穌治好了許多害各樣病的人，又趕出許多鬼，不許鬼說話，因為鬼認識他。

那七十二個人歡歡喜喜地回來，說：「主啊，因你的名，就是鬼也服了我們。」耶穌對他們說：「我看見撒但從天上墜落，像閃電一樣。我已經給你們權柄可以踐踏蛇和蠍子，又勝過仇敵一切的能力，絕沒有甚麼能害你們。

耶穌看見眾人都跑上來，就斥責那污靈說：「你這聾啞的靈，我命令你從他裏頭出來，再不要進去！」那靈大喊一聲，使孩子猛烈地抽了一陣風，就出來了。孩子好像死了一般，以致眾人多半說：「他死了。」

彼得卻說：「金銀我都沒有，但我把我有的給你：奉拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名起來行走！」

甚至有人從保羅身上拿走手巾或圍裙放在病人身上，病就消除了，邪靈也出去了。那時，有幾個巡迴各處念咒趕鬼的猶太人，擅自利用主耶穌的名，向那些被邪靈所附的人說：「我奉保羅所傳的耶穌命令你們出來！」做這事的是猶太祭司長士基瓦的七個兒子。但邪靈回答他們：「耶穌我知道，保羅我也認識，你們卻是誰呢？」被邪靈所附的人就撲到他們身上，制伏他們，勝過他們，使他們赤着身子，受了傷，從那房子裏逃出去了。凡住在以弗所的，無論是猶太人是希臘人，都知道這件事，也都懼怕；主耶穌的名從此就更被尊為大了。

基督既將一切執政者、掌權者的權勢解除了，就在凱旋的行列中，將他們公開示眾，仗着十字架誇勝。

耶穌叫齊了十二使徒，給他們能力和權柄制伏一切的鬼，醫治疾病，

耶穌斥責他說：「不要作聲，從這人身上出來吧！」污靈使那人抽了一陣風，大聲喊叫，就出來了。

城外有宙斯廟的祭司牽着牛，拿着花環，來到門前，要同眾人一起獻祭。巴拿巴和保羅二位使徒聽見，就撕開衣裳，跳進眾人中間，喊着：「諸位，為甚麼做這些事呢？我們也是人，性情和你們一樣。我們傳福音給你們，是要你們離棄這些虛妄的事，歸向那創造天、地、海和其中萬物的永生的神。

彼得對他說：「以尼雅，耶穌基督醫好你了，起來！整理你的褥子吧。」他立刻就起來了。
