She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit,“ In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her.

This went on day after day until Paul got so exasperated that he turned and said to the demon within her,“ I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And instantly it left her.

She did this for many days. Paul was greatly annoyed. Turning to the spirit, he said,“ I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her!” And it came out right away.

這些神蹟將伴隨著信的人：他們將奉我的名驅趕鬼魔；說各種新的語言；

耶穌就使許多患有各種疾病的人痊癒，又驅趕了很多鬼魔。他不准鬼魔說話，因為那些鬼魔知道他是誰。

那七十個人懷著喜樂的心回來，說：「主啊，奉你的名，連鬼魔也服從了我們。」耶穌對他們說：「我看見撒旦像閃電一樣從天上墜落。看，我已經給了你們權柄去踐踏蛇和蠍子，又勝過仇敵一切的勢力，絕不會有什麼能傷害你們了。

耶穌看見眾人都跑上來，就斥責那汙靈，說：「你這聾啞的邪靈，我命令你：從他裡面出來，不可再進去！」邪靈喊叫一聲，使孩子劇烈地抽瘋，就出來了。孩子變得像死人那樣，所以許多人說：「他死了。」

彼得卻說：「金子銀子我都沒有，只把我有的給你：奉拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名，起來走路吧！」

甚至有人把保羅身上的手巾和圍裙拿去，放在病人身上，疾病就從他們身上消退了，邪靈也出去了。可是有一些四處遊歷的猶太驅魔師，向那些有邪靈附身的人，擅自稱呼主耶穌的名，說：「我藉著保羅所傳的耶穌，吩咐你們出來。」有一個名叫斯克瓦的猶太祭司長，他的七個兒子都在做這種事。邪靈回答他們，說：「耶穌我認識，保羅我也知道！但你們呢？你們是誰？」有邪靈附身的那個人就跳到他們身上，壓制了所有的人，勝過了他們，以致他們赤著身帶著傷，從那房子逃了出去。所有住在以弗所的猶太人和希臘人，都知道了這件事，恐懼就臨到了他們每個人，主耶穌的名因此被尊為大。

神既然剝奪了那些統治者和掌權者的權勢，就公開羞辱他們；藉著基督向他們誇勝了。

耶穌召集了十二使徒，賜給他們能力和權柄勝過一切鬼魔，又能治癒各樣疾病，

耶穌斥責汙靈說：「住口！從這個人裡面出來！」汙靈使那個人抽瘋，然後大聲喊叫著從他裡面出來了。

於是城外宙斯神廟的祭司，牽著幾頭公牛，帶著一些花環，到了城門口，要與眾人一起來獻祭。巴拿巴和保羅兩位使徒聽見這事，就撕裂自己的衣服，衝進人群裡面，喊著說：「各位，你們為什麼做這些事呢？我們和你們同樣是人！我們向你們傳福音，是要你們離棄這些虛妄的事，歸向永生的神，就是造了天、地、海和其中萬有的神。

彼得對他說：「艾尼亞，耶穌基督使你痊癒。站起來，為你自己整理墊子吧！」艾尼亞立刻就站起來了。
