曾以爾僕大衛之口言云、異邦人何為奮怒、奮怒或作諠譁萬民何為徒謀、

約翰曰、非由天授、則人無所受、

無論行何事、勿怨讟、勿爭論、

非爾選我、乃我選爾、且命爾往而結果、而爾果恆存、則爾託我名凡求於父者、父必賜爾、

眾祈禱曰、主識眾心、求示於此二人中、孰為爾所選、

然我不以此為意、亦不以我生命為貴、惟思歡然前趨、以盡我程途、及我於主耶穌所受之職、以證天主恩寵之福音、

我又告爾、爾乃彼得、彼得譯即磐之義我即於此磐上、建我教會、而陰府之權、權原文作門不能勝之、我將以天國之鑰賜爾、凡爾所縛於地者、亦必見縛於天、所釋於地者、亦必見釋於天、

當遣人往約帕、請西門稱彼得者、寓於海濱皮工西門家、彼至、必有以誨爾、有原文抄本無此二句我即遣人請爾、爾來甚善、今我儕咸在天主前、欲聞主所命爾者、彼得啟口曰、今我誠知天主不以貌取人、各國有畏天主而行義者、皆為其所悅、天主託耶穌基督、即萬有之主、傳和平福音、授道於以色列民、爾知從約翰洗禮後、此道始宣於迦利利、而傳徧猶太、爾曹又知天主以聖神、以才能、膏拿撒勒耶穌、耶穌周遊行善、醫愈凡為魔所制服者、蓋天主偕之也、彼在猶太地及耶路撒冷、凡所行者、我儕為之作證、人乃懸之於木殺焉、至第三日、天主復活之、且使其現於人、非現於眾民、乃現於天主預選以為證者、即我儕於其復活後、與之同飲食者也、且命我儕傳道於民、證其為天主所定以審判生者死者、諸先知亦為之作證、言凡信之者、可賴其名而罪得赦、○彼得言時、聖神降臨諸聽道者、受割禮之門徒、偕彼得同來者、見聖神之賜、亦注於異邦人、皆奇異之、蓋聞其言諸國方言、稱頌天主為大、彼得曰、此人既受聖神、如我儕然、則以水施之洗禮、孰能禁之乎、遂命因主名有原文抄本作因主耶穌基督名施之洗禮、眾請彼得居數日、

今爾往、我將賜爾口才、示爾以所當言、

今宜遣人往約帕、請西門稱彼得者、寓海濱皮工西門家、彼將以所當行者告爾、

二人爭競、彼此離別、巴拿巴攜瑪可航海、往居比魯、

主曰、爾往、彼乃我所選之器、以宣揚我名、在異邦人及君王並以色列民前、

兄弟、昔聖神以大衛口預言引人執耶穌之猶大、其經應驗宜也、
