Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said,“ The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the law of Moses.”

Some of the believers were Pharisees. They stood up and said,“ The Gentiles must be circumcised. They must obey the law of Moses.”

But some believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees rose up and said,“ It is necessary to circumcise them and to order them to keep the law of Moses.”

But then some of the believers who belonged to the sect of the Pharisees stood up and insisted,“ The Gentile converts must be circumcised and required to follow the law of Moses.”

But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying,“ It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.”

有數人自猶太來、教諸兄弟曰、爾曹若不遵摩西之例受割禮、則不得救、

我生八日、即受割禮、屬以色列族、屬便雅憫支派、希伯來人中希伯來人、以律法言、則為法利賽人、以熱心言、則窘逐教會、以守律法之義言、則無過可責、然此一切、昔我以為益、今為基督皆以為損、且我視萬事為有損、因皆不如得識我主耶穌基督、我為彼遺棄諸事、視為糞土、惟欲得基督、顯我屬彼、

蓋聞我儕中數人、出而以言擾爾、惑亂爾心云、爾必受割禮、遵摩西律法、有原文抄本無此句但我儕未嘗有此命、

基督既釋我以得自由、則當堅立、勿復服為奴之軛、我保羅告爾、若受割禮、基督於爾無益、我復言之、凡受割禮者、當守全律法、

彼若肯作證、必言素知我遵我猶太人教至嚴之門、為法利賽人、今我立此受審、乃因望天主向我列祖所許者、

蓋我儕見此人如癘疫然、震動擾亂天下之猶太人、為拿撒勒異道之黨首領之一、

眾聞此、即讚美天主、天主有原文抄本作主謂保羅曰、我兄、爾見猶太人信者有數萬、皆守律法甚切、或作皆為律法而熱中
