Some time later Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let us go back and visit the believers in all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord and see how they are doing.”

Some time later Paul spoke to Barnabas.“ Let’s go back to all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord,” he said.“ Let’s visit the believers and see how they are doing.”

And after some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let us return and visit the brothers in every city where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.”

After some time Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s go back and visit each city where we previously preached the word of the Lord, to see how the new believers are doing.”

After some time had passed, Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s go back and visit the brothers and sisters in every town where we have preached the word of the Lord and see how they’re doing.”

After some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s return and visit the brothers and sisters in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.”

Then after some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let us now go back and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they are doing.”

And after some days Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us return now and visit the brethren in every city wherein we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they fare.

After some time had passed, Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s go back and visit the brothers in every town where we have preached the message of the Lord and see how they’re doing.”

And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord,[ and see] how they do.

After some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s return and visit the brothers in every town where we proclaimed the word of the Lord to see how they are doing.”

After some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”

保羅和同伴從帕弗開船，來到旁非利亞的別加，約翰卻離開他們，回耶路撒冷去了。他們從別加往前走，到了彼西底的安提阿，在安息日進了會堂，就坐下來。

兩人知道了，就逃往呂高尼的路司得和特庇兩城，以及周圍的地方，

他們既然奉聖靈差遣，就下到西流基，從那裡坐船往塞浦路斯。

兩人當眾跺掉腳上的塵土，往以哥念去了。

兩人經過彼西底，來到旁非利亞，在別加講道以後，就下到亞大利。

我們晝夜迫切祈求，要見你們的面，並且要補滿你們信心的不足。願我們的父神自己和我們的主耶穌為我們開路，使我們可以到你們那裡去。

保羅和巴拿巴在以哥念照樣進猶太的會堂講道，結果一大群猶太人和希臘人都信了。

他們在那城裡傳福音，使許多人作了門徒，然後回到路司得、以哥念、安提阿，

“到了四十歲，他心中起了一個念頭，要去看望自己的同胞以色列人。

一想起你流的眼淚，我就渴望見你，好叫我滿有喜樂。

我赤身露體，你們給我衣服穿；我病了，你們看顧我；我在監裡，你們來看我。’

不過，你們行事為人（“行事為人”原文也可譯作“作公民”）應當和基督的福音相配。這樣，無論我來見你們或是不在你們中間，都可以聽到你們的情況，就是你們有同一的心志，站立得穩，為了福音的信仰齊心努力，

我作旅客，你們沒有接待我；我赤身露體，你們沒有給我衣服穿；我病了，我在監裡，你們沒有看顧我。’

提摩太剛剛從你們那裡回來，把你們信心和愛心的好消息帶給我們。他還說，你們常常懷念我們，切切想見我們，好像我們想見你們一樣。

於是，摩西起程回到他岳父葉忒羅那裡，對他說：“請你容我離開這裡，回到我在埃及的同胞那裡，看看他們是否還在。”葉忒羅對摩西說：“你可以平平安安地去吧。”

除了這些外面的事，還有為各教會掛心的事，天天壓在我的身上。

因為我很想見你們，好把一些屬靈的恩賜分給你們，使你們可以堅定；

因此，耶和華以色列的神論到牧養他（“他”原文作“我”）子民的牧人這樣說：“你們使我的羊群四散，把牠們趕走，並沒有看顧牠們；看哪！我必因你們的惡行懲罰你們。”這是耶和華的宣告。

弟兄們，我們被迫暫時離開你們，不過是身體離開，心卻沒有離開。我們非常渴望再見到你們。因此，我們很想到你們那裡去，我保羅也一再想去，只是撒但阻擋了我們。
