You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things. Farewell.

只要寫信、叫他們禁戒偶像的觸污和淫亂、跟禁喫勒死的動物和血。

至於信道的外國人呢、我們已經寫信訓諭他們，決定叫他們自守，不喫祭偶像之物和血、跟勒死的動物，又不行淫亂。』

你們看按肉身做以色列人的。那些喫祭物的、豈不是在祭壇上有分麼？那我是說甚麼呢？是說祭偶像之物算得了甚麼呢？還是說偶像算得了甚麼呢？我乃是說外國人所祭獻的、是祭獻給鬼，不是獻與上帝。我不願意你們成了有分於鬼的人。

不過我有一點要責備你的，就是你有執守巴蘭教訓的人在你那裏。這巴蘭教導了巴勒將絆跌物丟在以色列人面前，叫他們喫祭偶像之物並行邪淫、變節去拜偶像。

不過我有一件要責備你的，就是你容讓那婦人耶洗別；她說自己是神言人，又教導又迷惑我的僕人們去行邪淫、變節拜偶像、喫祭偶像之物。

末了、弟兄們，願你們喜樂！你們要追求完全；要受鼓勵；要存着同樣的意念；要與人和睦；那麼賜愛與和平的上帝就與你們同在。

因為凡有血肉的的生命、其血就等於其生命。所以我對以色列人說：凡有血肉的的血、你們都不可喫，因為凡有血肉的的生命、就是牠的血；凡喫血的必須被剪除。

你可別因食物的緣故來拆毁上帝所造的人了！凡物都是潔淨的；但若有人喫東西而帶着碰倒人的事，這在那人就是惡的了。不喫肉，不喝酒，不在任何事上叫你的弟兄碰倒、才是好的。

在父上帝看來、看望孤兒寡婦在苦難中、並且保守自己不受世俗的玷污：這就是潔淨而不染污的宗教了。

我知道，並在主耶穌裏深信，凡物自身沒有俗污的；惟獨人若以某物為俗污，那物對那人就俗污了。你若因食物的緣故使你的弟兄憂愁，便不再是依照愛心而行了。基督曾經替他死的人，你可別用你的食物使他失喪了！

不要輕易給人「按手」，也不要在別人的罪上有份兒；要保守你自己清潔。

願那能守護你們不失腳、使你們站在他榮耀之前、無瑕無疵、歡歡樂樂地、

我在你們那裏有缺乏時，並沒有累着你們一個人；因為我的缺乏、從馬其頓來的弟兄都補足了。我向來凡事自守、不連累你們，將來也必自守。

但你們呢、親愛的，你們要在你們至聖的信仰上建立自己，依聖靈而禱告，保守你們自己在上帝愛中，期望着我們主耶穌基督的憐恤、來得永生。

卻辭別他們說：『上帝若准許，我還要回到你們這裏來的』。於是開船離了以弗所，

又另有一個人說：『主啊，我要跟從你；但是准我先去辭別我家裏的人。』

有人稟報我說、將要有計謀害這個人，我登時打發他到你這裏來，囑咐原告也在你面前告他。』
