其書云、使徒、長老、兄弟、問安提約、敘利亞、基利嘉、異邦人中諸兄弟安、

眾民見此甚悅、凡王所為、眾民無不悅、

使徒在耶路撒冷、聞撒瑪利亞人受天主道、乃遣彼得約翰就之、

我儕專務祈禱傳道、眾悅其言、遂擇司提反、其為人也、篤信而充滿聖神者、又擇腓立、伯羅哥羅、尼加挪、提門、巴米拿、安提約人進猶太教之尼哥拉、

王與會眾以為善、

在猶大地、天主感民、一心遵王與諸伯所傳主之命、

故我儕同心既集、決意選擇數人、遣之就爾、與我儕所愛之保羅巴拿巴同往、
