And after Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and debate with them, Paul and Barnabas and some of the others were appointed to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and the elders about this question.

時、使徒長老全會決意、於其中選二人、即稱巴撒巴之猶大及西拉、乃兄弟所尊者、與保羅、巴拿巴、同遣至安提阿、以書托之云、使徒長老兄弟、請安提阿、敘利亞、基利家異邦中諸兄弟安、

素以基督恩召爾者、爾何背之速、而從他福音耶、是我所異也、此非福音也、但有人惑爾、欲紛更基督福音、或我儕、或天使、傳福音與爾、異於我所傳者、必見絕也、我曾言之、今復言之、若人傳福音、異於爾所受者、亦必見絕也、今我豈要人乎、要上帝乎、抑求悅於人乎、若求悅於人、則不能為基督僕、

我宗基督、得以所宜、侃侃命爾、然爾我素相愛、與其命爾、不如求爾、蓋我保羅今老矣、而為耶穌基督囚、

乃經行諸邑以耶路撒冷使徒長老、所定之命、授門徒守之、

亦遣猶大、西拉、口授是事、

聖神命我同往勿疑、兄弟六人、與我往、入哥尼流室、

若爾蒙上帝命、以行是事、則爾可常存、民亦安歸故土。

我自謂不亞於至大使徒、

吾儕既集、決意遣選人、偕所愛巴拿巴、保羅、就爾、

彼得延之入、止宿焉、明日與之往、約帕兄弟數人偕行、

良朋乎、余既殷勤啟迪、俾爾知共享救恩、則當寄書勸爾、為古聖徒所受之道、盡心辯論、

明日、保羅與我儕入見雅各諸長老亦至、

我未嘗一時服之、使福音真理、恆存爾中、

耶和華諭之曰、可從民言、彼不第棄爾、乃亦棄我、不欲我治理之。
