門徒們就出去，到處傳道。主與他們一同工作，並且藉著伴隨的神蹟證實這話語。

在夜裡，主藉著異象對保羅說：「不要怕，只管講！不要沉默不語，因為我與你同在，而且沒有人會下手傷害你；原來在這城裡有許多我的子民。」保羅在那裡住了一年零六個月，在他們當中教導神的話語。

只是我會留在以弗所，一直到五旬節。原來，為了有功效的工作，一個大門向我敞開了，不過反對的人也很多。

我們就是這些事的見證人。神所賜給那些順從他之人的聖靈也一同做見證。」

但是我不把自己的生命看為寶貴，為要跑盡我該跑的路程，完成從主耶穌所領受的服事工作，為神恩典的福音鄭重地做見證。

這樣持續了兩年，結果所有住在亞細亞省的人，無論是猶太人或希臘人，都聽到了主的福音。神藉著保羅的手，行了一些不尋常的神蹟，甚至有人把保羅身上的手巾和圍裙拿去，放在病人身上，疾病就從他們身上消退了，邪靈也出去了。

主藉著使徒們的手，在民間行了很多神蹟和奇事。信徒們都同心合意地聚集在所羅門柱廊裡。雖然其他的人沒有一個敢與他們交往，但民眾都尊敬他們。信主的人越發增加，連男帶女成群結隊。

「各位以色列人哪，請聽這些話：拿撒勒人耶穌是神向你們所證實的人；神藉著他在你們中間行了大能、神蹟和奇事，正如你們自己所知道的。

耶穌對他說：「你們如果沒有看見神蹟和奇事，你們就絕不會信！」
