吾儕欲傳道於異邦人以弘濟蒼生、若輩乃予以阻撓；因是若輩惡貫滿盈、而天主之盛怒、已臨其身矣。

經云：『寓我心中之聖神、愛我情深、不容我別有所戀；』爾以此語為虛發乎。

而利伯地拿、古利奈、亞力山大、基利家、亞細亞諸地之公會、有人起而與之辯難。司諦文憑其智慧靈感、應對沛然、無能禦之者。

蓋依然未脫本性也。爾中一日有相妒相爭之事、即一日未克進於超性之境、而脫盡世俗之習。

淫邪貪狠、不義充身、乃至鬥殺成性、嫉妒為心、詭詐險毒、

哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也！爾曹向眾緊閉天國、己既不進、又阻人之進。

方宴、長子自田間歸、將及門、聞歌舞聲、乃喚一僕詢故、僕曰：「汝弟返矣、」乃父以其無恙而歸、為宰一肥犢。長子意頗忿忿、不欲入、父乃出而勸之、長子曰：「兒事父有年、未嘗有違、父向未賜兒一羔、與朋儕共讌。而此子狎妓耗財、返則宰肥犢以享之！」

惟猶太人嫉之、招聚市井敗類、鼓譟全城、入雅孫宅、欲執葆樂、西拉以付之於民、

若爾心中尚存忌刻好勝之意、則勿自誇為智、以欺真理。此之為智、非自上來、乃出自世俗、血氣與魔鬼耳。蓋一有忌刻好勝之心、則必啟爭端、而生紛亂、放僻邪侈、無不為已。

迷惑異端、嫉妒殘殺、沉醉荒宴等類皆是。吾夙已言之、今復鄭重相告、凡行此等事者、必不得承受天主之國也。

方伯固知若輩之解送耶穌、純出嫉妒耳。
