聖靈對腓利說：「你上前去，貼近那馬車走。」

那就是：神的義藉著對耶穌基督的信仰，臨到所有信的人，並沒有分別。

彼得就請他們進來，招待了他們。第二天，他起身與他們一同去，還有一些約帕的弟兄陪他一起去。

無論是藉著靈，還是藉著話語，或藉著一封好像是來自我們的書信，說主的日子已經來到了，你們都不要輕易被搖動而失去理性，也不要驚慌；

約瑟思考這些事以後，忽然主的一位天使在約瑟夢中顯現，說：「大衛的後裔約瑟，不要怕迎娶瑪麗亞做你的妻子，因為她裡面所懷的是由聖靈而來的。

又藉著信潔淨了他們的心，在我們和他們之間不做什麼區別。

聖靈既然阻止他們在亞細亞省傳講福音，他們就走遍弗里吉亞和加拉太地區。他們來到密細亞地區的邊界，試著要往比提尼亞省去，可是耶穌的靈不允許。

所有陪彼得一起來的割禮派的信徒，看見所賜的聖靈也被傾注在外邦人身上，都十分驚訝，

聖靈和新娘都說：「來吧！」那聽見的人也當說：「來吧！」乾渴的人也當來；願意的人，當無償地接受生命之水。

這樣，他們兩個人受聖靈的差遣，就下到塞琉西亞，又從那裡坐船前往塞浦路斯島，

彼得還在思考那異象的時候，聖靈對他說：「看哪，有三個人來找你！你起來，下去與他們一起走，不要有任何疑惑，因為是我派他們來的。」

經過了許多辯論，彼得站起來對他們說：「各位弟兄，你們知道前些時候神在你們中間施行揀選，要外邦人藉著我的口聽到福音之道，得以相信。

他們在服事主、禁食的時候，聖靈說：「來，你們把巴拿巴和掃羅為我分別出來，去做我所召喚他們做的工作！」

不過當那位真理的靈來了，他就會引導你們進入一切真理。那時，他不會憑著自己說話，只把所聽到的說出來，並且把那些就要來的事傳講給你們。
