And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,Saying, Let[ us] alone; what have we to do with thee,[ thou] Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word[ is] this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.

And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.

And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare[ him]. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and[ from] Decapolis, and[ from] Jerusalem, and[ from] Judaea, and[ from] beyond Jordan.

And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

And in that same hour he cured many of[ their] infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many[ that were] blind he gave sight.Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.And blessed is[ he], whosoever shall not be offended in me.

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

But when Jesus knew[ it], he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

And they taught in Judah, and[ had] the book of the law of the LORD with them, and went about throughout all the cities of Judah, and taught the people.

And when they were come out of the ship, straightway they knew him,And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was.And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.

And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and[ from] beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.

Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord,[ thou] Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast[ it] to dogs.And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great[ is] thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.And great multitudes came unto him, having with them[ those that were] lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea,( they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.And they that fed the swine fled, and told[ it] in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare[ him] stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.And this rumour of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.

For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save[ them]. And they went to another village.
