所以我立刻派人去请你。你来了真好。现在我们都在上帝面前，要听主吩咐你的一切话。”

不可忘记用爱心接待旅客，因为曾经有人这样做，在无意中接待了天使。

说：“看哪，我主，请你们转到仆人家里过夜，洗你们的脚，清早起来再上路。”他们说：“不！我们要在广场上过夜。”罗得恳切地请他们，他们就转向他，进到他屋里。罗得为他们预备宴席，烤无酵饼，他们就吃了。

你们要互相款待，不发怨言。

吕大原与约帕相近；门徒听见彼得在那里，就派两个人去见他，央求他说：“请快到我们那里去，不要耽延。”

我们留心做好事，不但在主面前，就是在人面前也是这样。

所以，我一被邀请，没有推辞就来了。现在请问，你们为什么叫我来呢？”

其实我有饲料草料可以喂驴，我和你的使女，以及与我们在一起的仆人都有饼有酒，什么都不缺。”老人说：“愿你平安！你所需用的我都会给你们，只是不可在广场上过夜。”于是老人领他到家里，喂上驴。他们洗了脚，就吃喝起来。
