別忘了樂意款待旅客了。因為曾有人因樂意款待旅客，不知不覺竟款待了天使呢。

說：『我主，請轉到僕人家裏來過夜，洗洗腳，清早起來再走路。』他們說：『不，我們要在廣場上過夜。』羅得極力地逼着他們，他們才轉身，來到他家裏。羅得給他們辦筵席，烤無酵餅；他們就喫。

你們要樂意款待旅客、互相招待、毫無怨言。

呂大近約帕，門徒聽見彼得在那裏，就差遣兩個人去見彼得，央求着說：『走過來到我們這裏吧，不要躭延！』

因為我們籌謀行為之美善，不但在主面前，也在人面前。

故此我一被邀請就來，並沒有反問一聲。那麼請問，你們打發人邀請我來，是甚麼意思？』

其實我有禾藁、有糧草、可以餵我們的驢，也有餅和酒可以給我和使女、以及跟隨僕人的僮僕喫，一無所缺。』老年人說：『你安心好啦；你所缺的、只由我供給好啦；可別在廣場上過夜啊。』就領他到家裏，餵上驢；他們就洗腳喫喝。
