凡是你手可作的，都當盡力去作；因為在你所要去的陰間裡，既沒有工作，又沒有籌謀；沒有知識，也沒有智慧。

這事傳遍了約帕，就有很多人信了主。

拉班說：“你這蒙耶和華賜福的，請進來吧，為甚麼站在外面呢？我已經收拾好了房間，也為駱駝預備了地方。”那人就進了拉班的家。拉班卸了駱駝，拿糧草和飼料給駱駝吃，又拿水給那人和與他同來的人洗腳。

所以我立刻派人去請你，現在你來了，好極了！我們都在神面前，要聽主吩咐你的一切話。”

不要忘了用愛心接待人，有人就是這樣作，在無意中就款待了天使。

說：“我主啊，請你們到僕人的家裡住一夜，洗洗你們的腳，清早起來再趕路。”他們回答：“不，我們要在街上過夜。”但由於羅得再三的請求，他們才肯跟他回去，進了他的家。羅得為他們預備了筵席，烤了無酵餅，他們就吃了。

你們要互相接待，不發怨言。

呂大靠近約帕，門徒聽說彼得在那邊，就派兩個人去求他，說：“請到我們那邊去，不要耽延！”

因為我們努力去作的，不僅是主認為是美的事，也是眾人認為是美的事。

所以我一被邀請，就毫不推辭地來了。現在請問：你們請我來是為甚麼事？”

其實我有糧草、有飼料，可以餵驢；我和我的妾，以及與你的僕人在一起的那個青年人，都有餅和酒吃喝，一無所缺。”那老年人說：“願你平安，你所缺乏的，由我負責好了；只是不可在廣場上過夜。”於是把他領到自己的家裡，用飼料餵了驢，他們洗了腳，就吃喝起來。
