必有多國的人前來說：“來吧！我們上耶和華的山，登雅各神的殿；他必把他的道路指示我們，我們也要遵行他的道；因為教訓必出於錫安。耶和華的話要來自耶路撒冷。

耶穌從那裡往前走，看見一個人，名叫馬太，坐在稅關那裡，就對他說：“來跟從我！”他就起來跟從了耶穌。耶穌在屋裡吃飯的時候，有很多稅吏和罪人來與他和門徒一起吃飯。

耶穌不許，卻對他說：“你回家到你的親屬那裡去，把主為你作了多麼大的事，並他怎樣憐憫你，都告訴他們。”那人就走了，開始在低加波利傳講耶穌為他所作的大事，眾人都希奇。

利未在自己家裡，為他大擺筵席，有許多稅吏和別的人一起吃飯。

他先找到自己的哥哥西門，告訴他：“我們遇見彌賽亞了！”（“彌賽亞”的意思就是“基督”。）安得烈就帶他到耶穌那裡。耶穌定睛看著他，說：“你是約翰的兒子西門，你要稱為磯法。”（“磯法”翻譯出來就是“彼得”。）再過一天，耶穌決定往加利利去；他遇見腓力，就對他說：“來跟從我！”腓力是伯賽大人，與安得烈和彼得同鄉。腓力找到拿但業，告訴他：“摩西在律法書上所寫的，和眾先知所記的那位，我們已經遇見了，他就是約瑟的兒子拿撒勒人耶穌。”拿但業說：“拿撒勒還能出甚麼好的嗎？”腓力說：“你來看！”耶穌看見拿但業向他走過來，就論到他說：“看哪，這的確是個以色列人，他心裡沒有詭詐。”拿但業問他：“你怎麼認識我呢？”耶穌回答：“腓力還沒有招呼你，你在無花果樹下的時候，我就看見你了。”拿但業說：“拉比，你是神的兒子，你是以色列的王！”

到那日（這是萬軍之耶和華的宣告），你們各人要邀請自己的鄰舍來，坐在葡萄樹下和無花果樹下。’”

“萬軍之耶和華這樣說：‘將來還有萬族的人和多個城市的居民要來。一城的居民到另一城去，對他們說：我們快去懇求耶和華施恩，求告萬軍之耶和華；我自己也去。必有很多的民族和強大的國家前來，在耶路撒冷求告萬軍之耶和華，懇求他施恩。’“萬軍之耶和華這樣說：‘在那些日子，必有十個說不同方言，來自列國的人，緊抓住一個猶大人的衣襟，說：讓我們與你們同去吧，因為我們聽見神與你們同在。’”

必有多國的人前來，說：“來吧！我們上耶和華的山，登雅各神的殿；他必把他的道指教我們，我們也必遵行他的路。”因為訓誨必出於錫安，耶和華的話必來自耶路撒冷。

太初有道，道與神同在，道就是神。這道太初與神同在。萬有是藉著他造的；凡被造的，沒有一樣不是藉著他造的。

那婦人撇下了她的水罐，進到城裡去，對眾人說：“你們來，看看一個人，他把我所作的一切都說出來，難道這人就是基督嗎？”

後來有人在亞鎖都遇見腓利。他走遍各城，傳講福音，直到該撒利亞。
