便对他说：“你这蒙耶和华赐福的人，请到我家。为什么站在外面呢？我已经为你预备好了房间，也为骆驼预备了地方。”老总管就到了拉班的家里，拉班卸下骆驼背上的东西，给骆驼喂上草料，打水给老总管和随行的人洗脚。

于是我立刻派人去请你。你能来，真是荣幸，现在我们都在上帝面前，想聆听主吩咐你传给我们的话。”

不要忘记款待客旅，因为曾经有人接待客旅时不知不觉接待了天使。

“我主啊，请到仆人家洗洗脚，住一夜，明天早上再继续赶路吧！”他们说：“不，我们要在街上过夜。”罗得执意邀请他们，他们便答应到他家里作客。罗得设宴款待他们，烤无酵饼给他们吃。

要互相接待，不发怨言，

吕大和约帕相距不远，门徒听说彼得在吕大，就派两个人赶去请他立刻来约帕。

无论在主面前或在人面前，我们务求行事为人光明磊落。

所以，我受到邀请后，毫不犹豫地来了。请问你们为什么请我来？”

其实我有粮草喂驴，我和我的妾及仆人也有饼和酒，什么也不缺。”那老人说：“到我家来吧，我会供应你们的需要，千万不可在街头露宿。”于是，那老人带他们回家，喂他们的驴。他们洗完脚后，便一起吃喝。
