不過我們有這寶物在瓦器裡，為要顯明這極大的能力是出於神，不是出於我們。

就算我耽延了，你也可以知道在神的家裡應該怎樣行事。這家是永生神的教會，是真理的柱石和根基。

伯沙撒酒酣之時，吩咐人把他先王尼布甲尼撒從耶路撒冷的聖殿中取走的金銀器皿帶來，好讓王和他的大臣們、妻子們、妃嬪們都用這些來喝酒。

你們難道不知道自己就是神的聖所，而且神的靈住在你們裡面嗎？如果有人毀壞神的聖所，神就要毀壞這個人，因為神的聖所是聖潔的，這聖所就是你們。

他對委任他的那一位是忠心的，正如摩西在神的全家也是忠心的。事實上，這個人被看為比摩西配得更大的榮耀，就像建造房屋的人比房屋本身更有尊榮那樣，因為每一座房屋都是由人建造的，而建造萬有的就是神。摩西是做為僕人，對神的全家忠心，為將被述說的事做見證；但基督是做為兒子，忠心管理神的家。如果我們持守所確信的和所誇耀的盼望，我們就是神的家。
