故我因選民而忍諸難、使於基督耶穌而得拯救、並得永榮、

我為選民忍難、使彼賴基督耶穌得救、永與厥榮、

故我為蒙選者忍受諸難、使彼亦因基督耶穌得救、並得永存之榮、

予之忍受一切、實為選民之故、欲使其恃基督耶穌以邀天恩、而承無疆之休。

Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.

So I put up with everything for the good of God’s chosen people. Then they also can be saved. Christ Jesus saves them. He gives them glory that will last forever.

现在我为你们受苦，倒很快乐；并且为基督的身体，就是为教会，我要在自己的肉身上补满基督未尽的苦难。

那赐一切恩典的神曾在基督里召了你们，得享他永远的荣耀，在你们暂受苦难之后，必要亲自成全你们，坚固你们，赐力量给你们，建立你们。

我们这短暂而轻微的苦楚要为我们成就极重、无比、永远的荣耀。

如果我们受患难，那是为使你们得安慰，得拯救；如果我们得安慰，那也是为使你们得安慰，这安慰能使你们忍受我们所受同样的苦楚。

你要和我同受苦难，作基督耶稣的精兵。

因为神不是预定我们受惩罚，而是预定我们藉着我们的主耶稣基督得救。

所以我求你们，不要因我为你们所受的患难丧胆；这原是你们的光荣。

我从前是亵渎、迫害、侮慢神的人；然而我还蒙了怜悯，因为我是在不信、不明白的时候做的。而且我们的主的恩典格外丰盛，使我在基督耶稣里有信心和爱心。

我为他们祈求，不为世人祈求，却为你所赐给我的人祈求，因他们本是你的。

这是为了要把他丰盛的荣耀彰显在那蒙怜悯、早预备得荣耀的器皿上。

父啊，我在哪里，愿你所赐给我的人也同我在哪里，使他们看见你所赐给我的荣耀，因为创世以前，你已经爱我了。

凡事都是为了你们，好使恩惠既藉着更多的人而加增，感恩也格外显多，好归荣耀给神。

他要差遣天使，用大声的号筒，从四方，从天这边直到天那边，召集他的选民。”

“你们从前不是子民，现在却成了神的子民；从前未曾蒙怜悯，现在却蒙了怜悯。”

凡恒心行善，寻求荣耀、尊贵和不能朽坏的，就有永生报偿他们；

神要让他们知道，这奥秘在外邦人中有何等丰盛的荣耀；就是基督在你们心里成了得荣耀的盼望。

他不但替这民族死，还要把神四散的儿女都聚集起来，合成一群。

为此，神藉着我们所传的福音呼召你们，好得着我们主耶稣基督的荣光。

因为假基督和假先知将要起来，显大神迹、大奇事，如果可能，要把选民也迷惑了。

对软弱的人，我就作软弱的人，为要赢得软弱的人。对什么样的人，我就作什么样的人。无论如何我总要救一些人。

若不减少那些日子，凡血肉之躯的，就没有一个能得救；可是为了选民，那些日子将减少。

因为寻得我的，就寻得生命，他必蒙耶和华的恩惠。
