In his justice he will pay back those who persecute you.

神既是公义的，就必将患难报应那加患难给你们的人，

既然上帝是公义的，他必以患难报复那加患难给你们的人，

既然神是公义的，他必以患难报复那加患难给你们的人，

上帝是公义的，祂必以患难来报应那些迫害你们的人。

神既然是公义的，主耶稣和他有能力的天使从天上显现在火焰中的时候，就使你们这些受灾难的人，可以和我们同享安息；却以灾难报应那些把灾难加给你们的人。

神既然真是公义的，当主耶稣与他有大能的天使们一起从天上显现的时候，他就要以患难回报那些加患难给你们的人，

因為上帝所看為公義的就是：當主耶穌從天上同他有能力的天使在火燄中顯示出來時將患難報應那加患難給你們的人，而將鬆息還報你們、連同我們、受患難緊逼的人、

神既然真是公義的，當主耶穌與他有大能的天使們一起從天上顯現的時候，他就要以患難回報那些加患難給你們的人，

蓋以苦報夫苦爾者、以偕我之安報爾受苦者、乃上帝之義也、

上帝至公、人苦爾者、報之以苦、

天主乃公義、凡以苦加爾者、天主必以苦報之、

故今之加爾以困辱者、天主亦將報之以困辱；

God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you

God is fair. He will pay back trouble to those who give you trouble.

since indeed God considers it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

since it is just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you

For after all it is only right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,

if so be that it is a righteous thing with God to recompense affliction to them that afflict you,

since it is righteous for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you

Seeing[ it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

For it is right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you,

They shouted to the Lord and said,“ O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you judge the people who belong to this world and avenge our blood for what they have done to us?”

But if you do what is wrong, you will be paid back for the wrong you have done. For God has no favorites.

Arise, O God, and defend your cause. Remember how these fools insult you all day long.Don’t overlook what your enemies have said or their growing uproar.

Can unjust leaders claim that God is on their side— leaders whose decrees permit injustice?They gang up against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.But the Lord is my fortress; my God is the mighty rock where I hide.God will turn the sins of evil people back on them. He will destroy them for their sins. The Lord our God will destroy them.

I will feed your enemies with their own flesh. They will be drunk with rivers of their own blood. All the world will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel.”

when I sharpen my flashing sword and begin to carry out justice, I will take revenge on my enemies and repay those who reject me.I will make my arrows drunk with blood, and my sword will devour flesh— the blood of the slaughtered and the captives, and the heads of the enemy leaders.”’“ Rejoice with him, you heavens, and let all of God’s angels worship him. Rejoice with his people, you Gentiles, and let all the angels be strengthened in him. For he will avenge the blood of his children; he will take revenge against his enemies. He will repay those who hate him and cleanse his people’s land.”

After a period of glory, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies sent me against the nations who plundered you. For he said,“ Anyone who harms you harms my most precious possession.

And I heard the angel who had authority over all water saying,“ You are just, O Holy One, who is and who always was, because you have sent these judgments.Since they shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, you have given them blood to drink. It is their just reward.”

His judgments are true and just. He has punished the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality. He has avenged the murder of his servants.”

In your streets flowed the blood of the prophets and of God’s holy people and the blood of people slaughtered all over the world.”

Rejoice over her fate, O heaven and people of God and apostles and prophets! For at last God has judged her for your sakes.

Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed.”

Why should pagan nations be allowed to scoff, asking,“ Where is their God?” Show us your vengeance against the nations, for they have spilled the blood of your servants.Listen to the moaning of the prisoners. Demonstrate your great power by saving those condemned to die.O Lord, pay back our neighbors seven times for the scorn they have hurled at you.

But if you are careful to obey him, following all my instructions, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will oppose those who oppose you.

The nations were filled with wrath, but now the time of your wrath has come. It is time to judge the dead and reward your servants the prophets, as well as your holy people, and all who fear your name, from the least to the greatest. It is time to destroy all who have caused destruction on the earth.”
