since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,

神既是公义的，就必将患难报应那加患难给你们的人，

既然上帝是公义的，他必以患难报复那加患难给你们的人，

既然神是公义的，他必以患难报复那加患难给你们的人，

上帝是公义的，祂必以患难来报应那些迫害你们的人。

神既然是公义的，主耶稣和他有能力的天使从天上显现在火焰中的时候，就使你们这些受灾难的人，可以和我们同享安息；却以灾难报应那些把灾难加给你们的人。

神既然真是公义的，当主耶稣与他有大能的天使们一起从天上显现的时候，他就要以患难回报那些加患难给你们的人，

因為上帝所看為公義的就是：當主耶穌從天上同他有能力的天使在火燄中顯示出來時將患難報應那加患難給你們的人，而將鬆息還報你們、連同我們、受患難緊逼的人、

神既然真是公義的，當主耶穌與他有大能的天使們一起從天上顯現的時候，他就要以患難回報那些加患難給你們的人，

蓋以苦報夫苦爾者、以偕我之安報爾受苦者、乃上帝之義也、

上帝至公、人苦爾者、報之以苦、

天主乃公義、凡以苦加爾者、天主必以苦報之、

故今之加爾以困辱者、天主亦將報之以困辱；

God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you

God is fair. He will pay back trouble to those who give you trouble.

since indeed God considers it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

In his justice he will pay back those who persecute you.

since it is just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you

For after all it is only right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

if so be that it is a righteous thing with God to recompense affliction to them that afflict you,

since it is righteous for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you

Seeing[ it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

For it is right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

And they cried with a loud voice, saying,“ How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.

Arise, O God, plead Your own cause; Remember how the foolish man reproaches You daily.Do not forget the voice of Your enemies; The tumult of those who rise up against You increases continually.

Shall the throne of iniquity, which devises evil by law, Have fellowship with You?They gather together against the life of the righteous, And condemn innocent blood.But the Lord has been my defense, And my God the rock of my refuge.He has brought on them their own iniquity, And shall cut them off in their own wickedness; The Lord our God shall cut them off.

I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, And they shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine. All flesh shall know That I, the Lord, am your Savior, And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”

If I whet My glittering sword, And My hand takes hold on judgment, I will render vengeance to My enemies, And repay those who hate Me.I will make My arrows drunk with blood, And My sword shall devour flesh, With the blood of the slain and the captives, From the heads of the leaders of the enemy.”’“ Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people; For He will avenge the blood of His servants, And render vengeance to His adversaries; He will provide atonement for His land and His people.”

For thus says the Lord of hosts:“ He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.

And I heard the angel of the waters saying:“ You are righteous, O Lord, The One who is and who was and who is to be, Because You have judged these things.For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, And You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.”

For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.”

And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.”

“ Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!”

Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, For Your judgments have been manifested.”

Why should the nations say,“ Where is their God?” Let there be known among the nations in our sight The avenging of the blood of Your servants which has been shed.Let the groaning of the prisoner come before You; According to the greatness of Your power Preserve those who are appointed to die;And return to our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom Their reproach with which they have reproached You, O Lord.

But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.

The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”
