For after all it is only right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

神既是公义的，就必将患难报应那加患难给你们的人，

既然上帝是公义的，他必以患难报复那加患难给你们的人，

既然神是公义的，他必以患难报复那加患难给你们的人，

上帝是公义的，祂必以患难来报应那些迫害你们的人。

神既然是公义的，主耶稣和他有能力的天使从天上显现在火焰中的时候，就使你们这些受灾难的人，可以和我们同享安息；却以灾难报应那些把灾难加给你们的人。

神既然真是公义的，当主耶稣与他有大能的天使们一起从天上显现的时候，他就要以患难回报那些加患难给你们的人，

神既然是公義的，主耶穌和他有能力的天使從天上顯現在火燄中的時候，就使你們這些受災難的人，可以和我們同享安息；卻以災難報應那些把災難加給你們的人。

因為上帝所看為公義的就是：當主耶穌從天上同他有能力的天使在火燄中顯示出來時將患難報應那加患難給你們的人，而將鬆息還報你們、連同我們、受患難緊逼的人、

神既然真是公義的，當主耶穌與他有大能的天使們一起從天上顯現的時候，他就要以患難回報那些加患難給你們的人，

蓋以苦報夫苦爾者、以偕我之安報爾受苦者、乃上帝之義也、

上帝至公、人苦爾者、報之以苦、

天主乃公義、凡以苦加爾者、天主必以苦報之、

故今之加爾以困辱者、天主亦將報之以困辱；

God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you

God is fair. He will pay back trouble to those who give you trouble.

since indeed God considers it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

In his justice he will pay back those who persecute you.

since it is just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you

since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you,

if so be that it is a righteous thing with God to recompense affliction to them that afflict you,

since it is righteous for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you

Seeing[ it is] a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

For it is right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you,

and they cried out with a loud voice, saying,“ How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who live on the earth?”

For the one who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and that without partiality.

Arise, God, and plead Your own cause; Remember how the foolish person taunts You all day long.Do not forget the voice of Your adversaries, The uproar of those who rise against You, which ascends continually.

Can a throne of destruction be allied with You, One which devises mischief by decree?They band themselves together against the life of the righteous And condemn the innocent to death.But the Lord has been my refuge, And my God the rock of my refuge.He has brought back their injustice upon them, And He will destroy them in their evil; The Lord our God will destroy them.

I will feed your oppressors with their own flesh, And they will become drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine; And humanity will know that I, the Lord, am your Savior And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”

If I have sharpened My flashing sword, And My hand has taken hold of justice, I will return vengeance on My adversaries, And I will repay those who hate Me.I will make My arrows drunk with blood, And My sword will devour flesh, With the blood of the slain and the captives, From the long haired leaders of the enemy.’Rejoice, you nations, with His people; For He will avenge the blood of His servants, And will return vengeance on His adversaries, And will atone for His land and His people.”

For the Lord of armies says this:“ After glory He has sent me against the nations that plunder you, for the one who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.

And I heard the angel of the waters saying,“ Righteous are You, the One who is and who was, O Holy One, because You judged these things;for they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. They deserve it.”

because His judgments are true and righteous; for He has judged the great prostitute who was corrupting the earth with her sexual immorality, and He has avenged the blood of His bond servants on her.”

And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slaughtered on the earth.”

Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, because God has pronounced judgment for you against her.”

Who will not fear You, Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy; For all the nations will come and worship before You, For Your righteous acts have been revealed.”

Why should the nations say,“ Where is their God?” Let vengeance for the blood of Your servants which has been shed Be known among the nations in our sight.Let the groaning of the prisoner come before You; According to the greatness of Your power, let those who are doomed to die remain.And return to our neighbors seven times as much into their lap Their taunts with which they have taunted You, Lord.

But if you truly obey his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.

And the nations were enraged, and Your wrath came, and the time came for the dead to be judged, and the time to reward Your bond servants the prophets and the saints and those who fear Your name, the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”
