This is a plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you indeed are suffering.

蓋天主公平之睿斷、於此已見端倪。正惟爾等為天主之國受苦、是天主以爾等為克承其國也。

All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.

All of this proves that when God judges, he is fair. So you will be considered worthy to enter God’s kingdom. You are suffering for his kingdom.

This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering—

And God will use this persecution to show his justice and to make you worthy of his Kingdom, for which you are suffering.

giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

The works of His hands are truth and justice; All His precepts are trustworthy.

The strength of the King loves justice; You have established order; You have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.

And I heard the altar saying,“ Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.”

But remember the former days, when, after being enlightened, you endured a great conflict of sufferings,partly by being made a public spectacle through insults and distress, and partly by becoming companions with those who were so treated.

Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called,

If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory, and of God, rests upon you.Make sure that none of you suffers as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler;but if anyone suffers as a Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name.For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?And if it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved, what will become of the godless man and the sinner?
