To this end we also pray always for you, that our God may count you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire of goodness and work of faith with power,

因此我儕常為爾祈禱、願我天主視爾堪受此召、以大能使爾克成所悅之善及信主之功、

因此吾儕不輟為爾祈禱、求我天主使爾無忝聖召；運其宏能、成爾善志；施其化工、充爾信德：

With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.

Keeping this in mind, we never stop praying for you. Our God has chosen you. We pray that he will make you worthy of his choice. We pray he will make every good thing you want to do come true. We pray that he will do this by his power. We pray that he will make perfect all that you have done by faith.

To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power,

So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.

In view of this, we always pray for you that our God will make you worthy of his calling, and by his power fulfill your every desire to do good and your work produced by faith,

remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and perseverance of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father.

For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.

This is an obvious sign of the righteous judgment of God, to the end that you may be counted worthy of God’s Kingdom, for which you also suffer.

For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God,strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy,giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light,who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love,

looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

to which he called you through our Good News, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

For what thanksgiving can we render again to God for you, for all the joy with which we rejoice for your sakes before our God,night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face, and may perfect that which is lacking in your faith?Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you.May the Lord make you to increase and abound in love toward one another, and toward all men, even as we also do toward you,to the end he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the Good News of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you always in my prayers,

being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment,so that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ,being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to be delivered?” says Yahweh.“ Shall I who cause to give birth shut the womb?” says your God.

It shall be said in that day,“ Behold, this is our God! We have waited for him, and he will save us! This is Yahweh! We have waited for him. We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation!”

If it happens, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to Yahweh, and he will have mercy on him, to our God, for he will freely pardon.
