And now, Sovereign Lord, in addition to everything else, you speak of giving your servant a lasting dynasty! Do you deal with everyone this way, O Sovereign Lord?

主耶和华啊，这在你眼中还看为小事，你也说到你仆人的家未来的事。主耶和华啊，这岂是人常遇到的事吗？

主耶和華啊，這在你眼中還看為小，又應許你僕人的家至於久遠。主耶和華啊，這豈是人所常遇的事嗎？

主耶和華啊，這在你眼中還看為小，你又說到你僕人的家將來的情況。主耶和華啊，這豈是人的常理嗎？

主耶和華啊，這在你眼中還看為小，你又說到你僕人的家將來的情況。主耶和華啊，這豈是人的常理嗎？

主耶和華啊，你覺得這還不夠，你還要施恩賜福給你僕人的後代。主耶和華啊，這樣的福分豈是常人可以得到的？

主耶和華啊，這在你眼中還看為小事，你也說到你僕人的家未來的事。主耶和華啊，這豈是人常遇到的事嗎？

然而主永恆主啊、這在你雖還看為小事，你仍說到你僕人家的事至於久遠：我主永恆主啊，這是人所常遇的事麼？

主耶和華啊，這在你眼中還看為小事，你竟又提說僕人家的未來！主耶和華啊，這難道是人的常例嗎？

主耶和華歟、此於爾目、猶以為小、爾又言及爾僕之家、至於久遠、主耶和華歟、此豈世人所常有乎、或作此亦為世人之例乎

曾是我主、以今所行、猶為不足、復有應許、欲昌我後、至於恆久、此豈世所常有乎。

主天主歟、此恩在主目中猶以為小、更許施恩於僕之家、至於久遠、主天主歟、世人豈有蒙主如此之恩待者乎、

And as if this were not enough in your sight, Sovereign Lord, you have also spoken about the future of the house of your servant— and this decree, Sovereign Lord, is for a mere human!

I would have thought that you had already done more than enough for me. But now, Lord and King, you have also said what will happen to my royal house in days to come. And, my Lord and King, this promise is for a mere human being!

And yet this was a small thing in your eyes, O Lord God. You have spoken also of your servant’s house for a great while to come, and this is instruction for mankind, O Lord God!

What you have done so far was a little thing to you, Lord GOD, for you have also spoken about your servant’s house in the distant future. And this is a revelation for mankind, Lord GOD.

And yet this was insignificant in Your eyes, Lord God, for You have spoken also of the house of Your servant regarding the distant future. And this is the custom of mankind, Lord God.

And yet this was a small thing in Your sight, O Lord GOD; and You have also spoken of Your servant’s house for a great while to come. Is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD?

And this was yet a small thing in thine eyes, O Lord Jehovah; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant’s house for a great while to come; and this too after the manner of men, O Lord Jehovah!

What You have done so far was a little thing to You, Lord God, for You have also spoken about Your servant’s house in the distant future. And this is a revelation for mankind, Lord God.

And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant’s house for a great while to come. And[ is] this the manner of man, O Lord GOD?

And you didn’t stop there, O LORD God! You have also spoken about the future of your servant’s family. Is this your usual way of dealing with men, O LORD God?

This was yet a small thing in your eyes, Lord Yahweh; but you have spoken also of your servant’s house for a great while to come; and this among men, Lord Yahweh!

“ My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.“ And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

And now, O God, in addition to everything else, you speak of giving your servant a lasting dynasty! You speak as though I were someone very great, O Lord God!

How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings.

starting from the time I appointed judges to rule my people Israel. And I will give you rest from all your enemies.“‘ Furthermore, the Lord declares that he will make a house for you— a dynasty of kings!For when you die and are buried with your ancestors, I will raise up one of your descendants, your own offspring, and I will make his kingdom strong.He is the one who will build a house— a temple— for my name. And I will secure his royal throne forever.I will be his father, and he will be my son. If he sins, I will correct and discipline him with the rod, like any father would do.But my favor will not be taken from him as I took it from Saul, whom I removed from your sight.Your house and your kingdom will continue before me for all time, and your throne will be secure forever.’”

May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

Isn’t it enough that you brought us out of Egypt, a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us here in this wilderness, and that you now treat us like your subjects?

Does it seem insignificant to you that the God of Israel has chosen you from among all the community of Israel to be near him so you can serve in the Lord’s Tabernacle and stand before the people to minister to them?

So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.

I gave you your master’s house and his wives and the kingdoms of Israel and Judah. And if that had not been enough, I would have given you much, much more.
