And I will provide a place for my people Israel and will plant them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. Wicked people will not oppress them anymore, as they did at the beginning

I will provide a place where my people Israel can live. I will plant them in the land. Then they will have a home of their own. They will not be bothered anymore. Evil people will no longer crush them, as they did at first.

And I will appoint a place for my people Israel and will plant them, so that they may dwell in their own place and be disturbed no more. And violent men shall afflict them no more, as formerly,

仇敵勝不過他，惡人不能欺壓他。我要當著他的面擊垮他的敵人，打倒恨他的人。

他們要安居在我賜給我僕人雅各的土地上，就是你們祖先居住的地方。他們世世代代都要居住在那裡，我僕人大衛要永遠做他們的王。我要與他們訂立永存的平安之約，使他們安居，人丁興旺。我的聖所要永遠設立在他們當中。我要住在他們中間。我要做他們的上帝，他們要做我的子民。

你從埃及帶出一棵葡萄樹，趕走外族人，把它栽種起來。

耶和華啊，你要帶領自己的子民到你的山上安居——到你為自己所造的住處，主啊，到你親手建的聖所。

當我宣佈要建造、栽培哪一邦或哪一國的時候，

萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列，祂所喜愛的葡萄樹就是猶大人。祂希望看到公平，卻只看見殺戮；指望看到公義，卻只聽見冤聲。

他鬆土，清除石頭，栽種了上好的葡萄，在園中建了一座瞭望塔，鑿了榨酒池。他期望收穫好葡萄，得到的卻是壞葡萄。

那時，我要跟田間的走獸、空中的飛鳥及地上的爬蟲立約，使牠們不再傷害你。我要在你境內毀滅戰弓和刀劍，止息戰事，使你安居樂業。

於是，埃及人更殘酷地奴役他們，強迫他們和泥造磚，並做田間一切的苦工，使他們痛苦不堪。

你是我的君王，我的上帝；你讓雅各得勝。

上帝要擦乾他們所有的眼淚，再沒有死亡、憂傷、哭泣和痛苦，因為以前的事都已成過去。」

耶賓王擁有九百輛鐵戰車，他殘暴地壓迫以色列人二十年。以色列人向耶和華呼求。

後來，法老命令全埃及的人把以色列人生的所有男嬰都拋進尼羅河裡，只讓女嬰活著。

非利士人分成三隊施行突襲，一隊前往書亞境內的俄弗拉，

米甸人勢力強盛，以色列人只好躲進山裡，藏在洞穴和營寨中。每當他們撒種的時候，米甸人、亞瑪力人及東方人就前來進犯，在他們境內安營，摧毀他們遠至迦薩一帶的莊稼，不給他們留下任何糧食，也不留下一隻羊、一頭牛或驢。入侵者帶著牲畜和帳篷像蝗蟲一樣湧來，人和駱駝不計其數，摧毀了整個地區。以色列人因米甸人的入侵而極其貧乏，就呼求耶和華。
