當裂肺肝、毋裂衣服、歸誠爾之上帝耶和華、我以仁慈為念、矜憫為懷、恆忍靡已、施恩格外、所言降災之事、必能中止、望我回厥志、畀以純嘏、則爾得以禮物灌奠、獻我於耶和華。

惟汝室以血為徵、我見之、將逾越爾室、擊埃及時、災害不及爾身。

耶和華兮、爾震怒余、伊於胡底、請爾回志、矜憫爾僕兮、

耶和華必伸民冤、矜恤其僕兮。

會眾罰之已足、

其途幽暗、滑而難行、為耶和華之使驅逐兮。

耶布士、亞摩哩、革迦撒、

又行一日、至於曠野、坐於金雀花下、求欲喪命、曰、而今已矣、望耶和華取我生命、蓋我較之他先知、無能出乎其上。

耶布士人、即耶路撒冷居民也、猶大族不能驅之、與之同居、至於今日。

我之責人、不恆蓄怒、恐予所造之人、膽喪氣餒、

時大闢曰、凡入暗竇、擊耶布士人、及我所惡之跛者瞽者、則可為軍長、蓋敵有言跛者瞽者尚存、則不得入室。

上帝曰、爾其慰藉我民、慰藉我民、必以善言慰耶路撒冷人、告之云、爾居苦境、已終其年、爾罪赦宥、耶和華以恩寵錫爾、較昔降災、其數維倍。

昔我督責斯民、其罰惟輕、東風驅之、暴風吹之、徙諸遠方、

耶和華乃回厥志、曰、此災可免、

耶布士人處於耶路撒冷、不為便雅憫族所逐、故得與之偕居、至於今日。○

上帝矜憫無涯、赦宥頻加、不忍翦滅、屢遏其怒、不奮其威兮、

近耶布士時、日已暮矣。僕謂主曰、請入耶布士人之邑而宿。

雷轟雹降、亦太甚矣、請爾禱於耶和華而止之、我必釋汝、更無扞格。

使口不飲牲血、齒不嚙污物、遠方之人、歸誠於我上帝、我視之若猶大牧伯、亦視以革倫民若耶布士人、

耶和華乃回厥志、曰、此災可免。

始我命邦國、必當翦滅、撥其根本、而彼邦國、悛改厥行、則我欲降之災、必不行焉。

時伽得見大闢曰、往前築壇、奉事耶和華、在耶布士人亞勞拿之穀場。

耶和華與、我聞爾所言、不勝驚懼、耶和華與、我今遭難爾勃然以興、著爾經綸、震怒之時、矜憫為懷、

耶和華聞之、悔其前言、不加禍於民。○
