我要打發他攻擊褻瀆的國民，吩咐他攻擊我所惱怒的百姓，搶財為擄物，奪貨為掠物，將他們踐踏，像街上的泥土一樣。

亞蘭王滅絕約哈斯的民，踐踏他們如禾場上的塵沙，只給約哈斯留下五十馬兵，十輛戰車，一萬步兵。

他們必如勇士在陣上將仇敵踐踏在街上的泥土中。他們必爭戰，因為耶和華與他們同在；騎馬的也必羞愧。

他們要倒在刀下，又被擄到各國去。耶路撒冷要被外邦人踐踏，直到外邦人的日期滿了。」

我搗碎他們，如同風前的灰塵，倒出他們，如同街上的泥土。

耶和華啊，你增添國民，你增添國民；你得了榮耀，又擴張地的四境。

我說，我必將他們分散遠方，使他們的名號從人間除滅。

耶和華說：「我從前分散你們在天的四方，現在你們要從北方之地逃回。這是耶和華說的。」

萬軍之耶和華說：「那日臨近，勢如燒着的火爐，凡狂傲的和行惡的必如碎稭，在那日必被燒盡，根本枝條一無存留。

願他們像風前的糠，有耶和華的使者趕逐他們。

於是金、銀、銅、鐵、泥都一同砸得粉碎，成如夏天禾場上的糠粃，被風吹散，無處可尋。打碎這像的石頭變成一座大山，充滿天下。
