That is not the case. A man named Sheba son of Bikri, from the hill country of Ephraim, has lifted up his hand against the king, against David. Hand over this one man, and I’ll withdraw from the city.” The woman said to Joab,“ His head will be thrown to you from the wall.”

That isn’t what I have in mind at all. There’s a man named Sheba, the son of Bikri, in your city. He’s from the hill country of Ephraim. He’s trying to kill King David. Hand that man over to me. Then I’ll pull my men back from your city.” The woman said to Joab,“ We’ll throw his head down to you from the wall.”

That is not true. But a man of the hill country of Ephraim, called Sheba the son of Bichri, has lifted up his hand against King David. Give up him alone, and I will withdraw from the city.” And the woman said to Joab,“ Behold, his head shall be thrown to you over the wall.”

That’s not my purpose. All I want is a man named Sheba son of Bicri from the hill country of Ephraim, who has revolted against King David. If you hand over this one man to me, I will leave the town in peace.”“ All right,” the woman replied,“ we will throw his head over the wall to you.”

That is not the case. There is a man named Sheba son of Bichri, from the hill country of Ephraim, who has rebelled against King David. Deliver this one man, and I will withdraw from the city.” The woman replied to Joab,“ Watch! His head will be thrown over the wall to you.”

Such is not the case. But a man from the hill country of Ephraim, Sheba the son of Bichri by name, has raised his hand against King David. Only turn him over, and I will depart from the city.” And the woman said to Joab,“ Behold, his head will be thrown to you over the wall.”

曰安、我主遣我告爾、曰、今有先知之徒、年少者二人、自以法蓮山來就我、請以銀一千五百、及衣二襲與之。

聲自但地、及以法蓮山而至、以報患難之事。

書至、眾乃殺王子七十人、盛首於筐、遣使詣耶斯烈。

謂從者曰、耶和華以膏沐我主、而我舉手攻之、斷不可為。

大闢曰、毋加殺害、彼為耶和華沐以膏、殺之者罪毋赦。

乘其困乏喪膽、我必涖臨、使彼戰慄、侍從必遁、我擊其王。爾所欲害之人、既已被擊、所遺民眾、率之歸爾、俾其安處。

我必返以色列族於故土、於加密巴山、牧守群羊、於以法蓮、基列地、而得果腹。

西魯雅子、約押弟、亞庇篩、在次三傑中為魁、持戈殺三百人、故在三傑中夙著名譽、

便雅憫族、庇革哩子示巴、兇暴人也。吹角告眾、曰、我與耶西之子大闢無與、以色列族各歸故幕可也。

葬於其業之隅、即以法蓮山之亭納希烈、迦實岡北。

曰、米迦使我為祭司、給我以金、待我若此。曰、請詢於上帝、我所行可得坦途否。祭司曰、汝可安然以行、願耶和華導爾於途。五人遂往、至拉億、見其邑民、與西頓無異、安居逸樂、無人侵擾、財用富裕、地離西頓甚遠、不與他人通聞問。五人歸於鎖喇以實道、以告同儕。同儕曰、爾意若何。
