That isn’t what I have in mind at all. There’s a man named Sheba, the son of Bikri, in your city. He’s from the hill country of Ephraim. He’s trying to kill King David. Hand that man over to me. Then I’ll pull my men back from your city.” The woman said to Joab,“ We’ll throw his head down to you from the wall.”

That is not true. But a man of the hill country of Ephraim, called Sheba the son of Bichri, has lifted up his hand against King David. Give up him alone, and I will withdraw from the city.” And the woman said to Joab,“ Behold, his head shall be thrown to you over the wall.”

That’s not my purpose. All I want is a man named Sheba son of Bicri from the hill country of Ephraim, who has revolted against King David. If you hand over this one man to me, I will leave the town in peace.”“ All right,” the woman replied,“ we will throw his head over the wall to you.”

大衛卻說：「不要殺他，誰殺害耶和華所膏立的王，都難逃罪責。

趁他疲憊無力的時候襲擊他，使他驚慌失措，他的部下必逃命。我只把王一個人殺掉，把他的部下全都帶來歸順你。你尋索的人既然死了，跟隨他的人必然會歸順你。這樣，大家就平安無事了。」

我要帶領以色列人返回他們的草場，讓他們在迦密和巴珊吃草，在以法蓮和基列的山上吃得飽足。

洗魯雅的兒子、約押的兄弟亞比篩是這三位勇士的統領，他曾揮矛刺死三百人，在三勇士中出了名，

有一個無賴名叫示巴，是便雅憫人比基利的兒子，當時剛好在吉甲。他吹響號角，大喊：「我們與大衛毫無關係，耶西兒子的產業沒有我們的份。以色列人啊，各自回家去吧！」

以色列人把他葬在他自己的土地上，在迦實山以北、以法蓮山區的亭拿·希烈。

那青年便把米迦聘他做祭司的事告訴了他們。他們說：「請你求問上帝，看看我們是否一路順利。」祭司說：「你們安心去吧，耶和華會一路眷顧你們。」五人啟程來到拉億，發現當地人像西頓人一樣無憂無慮，生活安寧，毫無防範，繁榮富足。他們離西頓很遠，與外界沒有來往。五人回到瑣拉和以實陶後，族人問他們：「你們有什麼發現嗎？」
