於是大衛向掃羅起誓，掃羅就回自己的家去，大衛和他的部下也回要塞去了。

大衛回去要祝福自己的家人時，掃羅的女兒米甲出來迎接大衛，她說：「今天以色列王多麼光彩啊！竟然在臣僕們的婢女眼前露體，如同一個下賤人赤身露體。」

於是約押去見王，告訴了王，王就召見押沙龍。押沙龍去見王，在王面前臉伏於地向他下拜，王就親吻押沙龍。

大家都痛哭起來，摟住保羅的脖子親吻他。

你們要用聖潔的親吻禮問候所有的弟兄。

約瑟又親吻了所有的兄弟，在他們身上哭泣。此後，他的兄弟們就與他交談。

他祝福亞伯蘭，說：「願至高神、天地的主宰祝福亞伯蘭！
