爾代掃羅為王、今耶和華將掃羅家之血、悉歸於爾、以此國付於爾子押沙龍、爾流血之人、自取其禍也、

爾戮掃羅全家、移其國祚、今耶和華已報其仇、以爾國位、與子押沙龍、惟爾殘忍、自取咎戾。

爾殘殺掃羅家、奪其國、代之為王、今主報復爾、以國賜爾子押沙龍、爾乃殘忍之人、今遭惡報、

The Lord has repaid you for all the blood you shed in the household of Saul, in whose place you have reigned. The Lord has given the kingdom into the hands of your son Absalom. You have come to ruin because you are a murderer!”

You spilled the blood of a lot of people in Saul’s family. You took over his kingdom. Now the Lord is paying you back. He has handed the kingdom over to your son Absalom. You have been destroyed because you are a murderer!”

The Lord has avenged on you all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose place you have reigned, and the Lord has given the kingdom into the hand of your son Absalom. See, your evil is on you, for you are a man of blood.”

“ The Lord is paying you back for all the bloodshed in Saul’s clan. You stole his throne, and now the Lord has given it to your son Absalom. At last you will taste some of your own medicine, for you are a murderer!”

Yahweh has returned on you all the blood of Saul’s house, in whose place you have reigned! Yahweh has delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom your son! Behold, you are caught by your own mischief, because you are a man of blood!”

上帝就这样使亚比米勒得到了报应，因为他残杀了自己的七十个兄弟，也让示剑人因自己的一切恶行而得到了报应。耶路·巴力的儿子约坦的咒诅临到了他们。

耶和华要让他血债血还。因为他背着我父亲杀了两名比他良善正直的人，即尼珥的儿子以色列元帅押尼珥和益帖的儿子犹大元帅亚玛撒。所以，杀这二人的血债必永远归到约押和他后代身上。愿耶和华的平安永远伴随大卫和他的后代、他的家、他的国。”

大卫听到消息就说：“耶和华作证，我和我的人民永远跟尼珥的儿子押尼珥的死无关。约押和他全家要承担这罪，愿他的后代永远有长疮的、患皮肤病的、拄拐杖的、被刀剑所杀的或挨饿的。”

这是要惩罚亚比米勒和帮他残杀耶路·巴力七十个儿子的示剑人。

由于他们流了众圣徒和先知们的血，现在你使他们喝血，这正是他们应得的报应。”

基遍人在耶和华面前把他们七人吊死在山上，那时正好是收割大麦的时候。

那里的居民看见毒蛇吊在保罗手上，就交头接耳地说：“这人一定是个凶手，虽然侥幸没有淹死，天理却不容他活下去。”可是保罗把蛇甩进火里，并没有受伤。

他们把伊施波设的首级带到希伯仑献给大卫王，说：“这便是扫罗的儿子伊施波设的首级。扫罗是你的仇敌，曾试图杀害你，今天耶和华为我主我王惩罚了扫罗和他的子孙。”大卫对比录人临门的儿子利甲及其兄弟巴拿说：“我凭救我脱离一切危难的永活的耶和华起誓，在洗革拉曾有人向我报信说扫罗死了，他以为是来报喜讯，我抓住他，把他杀了。那就是我给他的报酬。更何况你们这些恶徒在这个无辜人的家里把他杀死在床上，我怎能不向你们讨这血债，把你们从世上除掉？”于是，大卫命令部下杀了他们，斩断他们的手脚，把尸体挂在希伯仑的池旁。他们把伊施波设的头颅葬在希伯仑押尼珥的坟墓里。

世人啊！你们把我的荣耀变为羞辱要到何时呢？你们追求虚谎之事要到何时呢？（细拉）

他们都说上帝不会来救我。（细拉）
