At the end of four years, Absalom said to the king,“ Let me go to Hebron and fulfill a vow I made to the Lord.

押沙龍居其述、歷至三年。

遂遣之往伯利恆、云、爾往、勤訪嬰兒、遇則告我、我亦將往拜、

偽善之士子、𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、以爾當人前閉天國、爾自不進、而將進者、爾不許、

惡人之祭且不納、況以詭譎之心獻禮物乎。
