王对撒督说：“把神的约柜抬回城里去吧！我若是在耶和华眼前蒙恩，他必使我回来再看到约柜和他安居的地方。

Then the king said to Zadok,“ Take the ark of God back into the city. If I find favor in the Lord’s eyes, he will bring me back and let me see it and his dwelling place again.

Then the king said to Zadok,“ Take the ark of God back into the city. If the Lord is pleased with me, he’ll bring me back. He’ll let me see the ark again. He’ll also let me see Jerusalem again. That’s the place where he lives.

Then the king said to Zadok,“ Carry the ark of God back into the city. If I find favor in the eyes of the Lord, he will bring me back and let me see both it and his dwelling place.

Then the king instructed Zadok to take the Ark of God back into the city.“ If the Lord sees fit,” David said,“ he will bring me back to see the Ark and the Tabernacle again.

Then the king instructed Zadok,“ Return the ark of God to the city. If I find favor with the LORD, he will bring me back and allow me to see both it and its dwelling place.

And the king said to Zadok,“ Return the ark of God to the city. If I find favor in the sight of the Lord, then He will bring me back and show me both it and His habitation.

Then the king said to Zadok,“ Carry the ark of God back into the city. If I find favor in the eyes of the Lord, He will bring me back and show me both it and His dwelling place.

And the king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city: if I shall find favor in the eyes of Jehovah, he will bring me again, and show me both it, and his habitation:

Then the king instructed Zadok,“ Return the ark of God to the city. If I find favor in the Lord’s eyes, He will bring me back and allow me to see both it and its dwelling place.

And the king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city: if I shall find favour in the eyes of the LORD, he will bring me again, and shew me[ both] it, and his habitation:

The king said to Zadok,“ Carry God’s ark back into the city. If I find favor in Yahweh’s eyes, he will bring me again, and show me both it, and his habitation;

在你院子里住一日，胜过在别处住千日；宁愿站在我神殿中的门槛上，也不愿住在恶人的帐棚里。

耶和华啊！我喜爱你住宿的殿，你荣耀居住的地方。

求你发出你的亮光和真理，好引导我，带我到你的圣山，到你的居所。我就走到神的祭坛前，到神、我极大的喜乐那里。神啊！我的神啊！我要弹琴称赞你。

你凭着慈爱，带领了你买赎的人民；你凭着能力，引导了他们到你的圣所。

万军之耶和华啊！你的居所多么可爱。我的灵渴想切慕耶和华的院子，我的心身向永活的神欢呼。万军之耶和华，我的王我的神啊！在你的祭坛那里，麻雀找到了住处，燕子也为自己找到了安置幼雏的巢。

为了耶和华我们神的殿的缘故，我要为你求福乐。

你们不要倚靠虚谎的话，说：‘这是耶和华的殿，是耶和华的殿，是耶和华的殿。’

神啊！我的心渴慕你，好像鹿渴慕溪水。我的心渴想神，就是永活的神；我什么时候可以来朝见神的面呢？

他们把耶和华的约柜抬进去，安放在帐棚里它自己的地方，就是安放在大卫给它支搭的帐棚里，大卫就在耶和华面前献上燔祭和平安祭。

人对我说：“我们到耶和华的殿那里去”，我就欢喜。（本节在《马索拉文本》包括细字标题）

军队回到营里，以色列的长老说：“今天耶和华为什么在非利士人面前击败我们呢？我们要把耶和华的约柜从示罗抬到我们这里来。约柜一到我们中间，就会拯救我们脱离仇敌的手。”于是他们派人到示罗去，从那里把坐在二基路伯中间万军之耶和华的约柜抬来；以利的两个儿子，何弗尼和非尼哈，也与神的约柜一同来了。耶和华的约柜来到营中的时候，以色列众人就大声欢呼，大地也回声响应。非利士人听见了欢呼的声音，就问：“在希伯来人的营中为什么有这样大声的欢呼呢？”后来才知道耶和华的约柜来到了营中。非利士人就害怕起来，他们说：“有神来到他们的营中了。”又说：“我们有祸了！因为从来没有这样的事。我们有祸了！从前在旷野用各样灾祸击打埃及人的，就是这些神。谁能救我们脱离这些大能之神的手呢？非利士人哪！你们要刚强，要作大丈夫，免得你们作希伯来人的奴仆，好像他们作过你们的奴仆一样；你们要作大丈夫，作战吧！”于是非利士人起来作战，以色列人就被击败，各人都往自己的帐棚逃跑。这是一场大屠杀，以色列人中有三万步兵阵亡。神的约柜也被抢去，以利的两个儿子何弗尼和非尼哈也死了。

王对拿单先知说：“你看！我自己住在香柏木的宫里，耶和华的约柜却停在帐幕内。”

希西家问：“我能上耶和华的殿去，有什么兆头呢？”

有一件事我求过耶和华，我还要寻求；我要一生一世住在耶和华的殿里，瞻仰他的荣美，在他的殿中求问。因为在我遭难的日子，他必把我藏在他的帐棚里，把我隐藏在他帐幕的隐密处，又把我高举在磐石上。

所以，从今以后，刀剑必不离开你的家，因为你藐视了我，娶了赫人乌利亚的妻子作你的妻子。’耶和华这样说：‘看哪！我必从你家中兴起祸患攻击你；我要在你的眼前把你的妃嫔拿去赐给你的同伴。他要在光天化日之下与她们同床。

神啊！你是我的神，我要切切寻求你；在干旱、疲乏、无水之地，我的心，我的身，都渴想你，切慕你。因此，我在圣所中瞻仰你，为要见你的能力和荣耀。
