Zadok was there, too, and all the Levites who were with him were carrying the ark of the covenant of God. They set down the ark of God, and Abiathar offered sacrifices until all the people had finished leaving the city.

And Abiathar came up, and behold, Zadok came also with all the Levites, bearing the ark of the covenant of God. And they set down the ark of God until the people had all passed out of the city.

“拔营出发时，哥辖的子孙要等到亚伦父子们把圣所和圣所的器具都盖好后，才可以来抬。他们负责抬这些会幕的器具，但不可触摸这些圣物，免得死亡。

亚希突的儿子撒督和亚比亚他的儿子亚希米勒做祭司长，西莱雅做书记，

示法做书记；撒督和亚比亚他任祭司；

只有亚希米勒的一个儿子亚比亚他逃出去，投奔了大卫。

让七个祭司拿着七个羊角号走在约柜前面。到了第七天，你们要绕城七圈，祭司要吹响号角。

上帝的约柜被掳走了，以利的两个儿子何弗尼和非尼哈被杀身亡。

“你去吩咐抬约柜的祭司从约旦河里上来。”约书亚便吩咐他们上来。抬耶和华约柜的祭司从河床上来，脚刚一踏上岸，约旦河的水立刻恢复了原状，像以往一样涨过两岸。

“你们看见做祭司的利未人抬着你们上帝耶和华的约柜出发时，就要起身跟在后面。

这块地要归给撒督的子孙——忠心事奉我的圣洁祭司。当以色列人和利未人走入歧途时，他们没有与之同流合污。

你是个有先见之明的人，安心带着你的儿子亚希玛斯和亚比亚他的儿子约拿单回城吧。

军队回营后，以色列的长老说：“为什么今天耶和华使我们败在非利士人手下？我们从示罗把耶和华的约柜抬来吧，让它与我们同去，好从仇敌手中救我们。”于是，他们派人去示罗把那坐在基路伯天使上的万军之耶和华的约柜抬来。以利的两个儿子何弗尼和非尼哈也随上帝的约柜同来。以色列人看见耶和华的约柜到了营中，就高声欢呼，声音震天动地。

不过，撒督祭司、耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅、拿单先知、示每、利以和大卫的勇士却没有跟随他。

以下是他的众臣仆：撒督的儿子亚撒利雅做祭司；示沙的儿子以利何烈和亚希亚做书记；亚希律的儿子约沙法做史官；耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅做元帅；撒督和亚比亚他做祭司长；

约书亚又对祭司说：“抬起约柜，率领民众过河吧！”他们就抬起约柜，走在民众前面。

大卫说：“除了利未人以外，谁也不可抬上帝的约柜，因为耶和华只拣选他们抬上帝的约柜，永远事奉祂。”

摩西没有把供物分给哥辖的子孙，因为他们要用肩扛所负责的圣物。

祭司撒督和亚比亚他都在那里，你在宫内听到什么消息就告诉他们。

亚希突生撒督，撒督生亚希玛斯，亚希玛斯生亚撒利雅，亚撒利雅生约哈难，约哈难生亚撒利雅——这亚撒利雅在耶路撒冷所罗门建的圣殿里任祭司，亚撒利雅生亚玛利雅，亚玛利雅生亚希突，亚希突生撒督，撒督生沙龙，

嫩的儿子约书亚便召来祭司，对他们说：“你们抬起约柜，派七位祭司拿着七个羊角号走在耶和华的约柜前面。”

王委派耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅替代约押为元帅，命撒督祭司代替亚比亚他。

这一次，抬耶和华约柜的人走了六步，大卫就献上公牛和肥犊为祭。
