只是因為你作了這事，使耶和華的仇敵大得褻瀆的機會，所以你所生的兒子必定死。”

只是你行这事，叫耶和华的仇敌大得亵渎的机会，故此，你所得的孩子必定要死。”

只是在这事上，你大大藐视耶和华，因此，你生的孩子必定要死。”

但你做的丑事给了仇敌亵渎耶和华的机会，所以你这个孩子必定死。”

然爾行此、使耶和華之敵得毀謗之由、故爾所生之子必死、

爾之作為若此、使逆耶和華之人愈生厭惡、故爾所得之子必死。

然爾之為此、使主之敵得毀謗之由、故爾所得之子必死、

But because by doing this you have shown utter contempt for the Lord, the son born to you will die.”

But you have dared to show great disrespect for the Lord. So the son who has been born to you will die.”

Nevertheless, because by this deed you have utterly scorned the Lord, the child who is born to you shall die.”

Nevertheless, because you have shown utter contempt for the word of the Lord by doing this, your child will die.”

However, because you treated the LORD with such contempt in this matter, the son born to you will die.”

However, since by this deed you have shown utter disrespect for the Lord, the child himself who is born to you shall certainly die.”

However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die.”

Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of Jehovah to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

However, because you treated the Lord with such contempt in this matter, the son born to you will die.”

However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to Yahweh’s enemies to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you will surely die.”

現在我在這裡作甚麼呢？”耶和華說：“我的子民毫無代價被取去；統治他們的人大肆咆哮。”耶和華說：“我的名終日不住被藐視。

正如經上所說的：“神的名，因你們的緣故在列邦中被褻瀆。”

他們到了所去的列邦那裡，我的聖名就被褻瀆，因為人總是談論他們說：‘這些是耶和華的子民，他們卻要從耶和華的地出來。’我卻顧惜我的聖名，就是以色列家在他們所去的列邦那裡所褻瀆的。“因此，你要對以色列家說：‘主耶和華這樣說：以色列家啊！我作這事，不是為了你們，而是為了我自己的聖名，就是在你們所去的列邦那裡所褻瀆的，我要使我的大名顯為聖，這名在列邦中已經被褻瀆了，是你們在他們中間所褻瀆的。我在你們身上向他們顯為聖的時候，他們就知道我是耶和華。這是主耶和華的宣告。

“這世界有禍了，因為充滿使人犯罪的事。這些事是免不了的，但那使人犯罪的有禍了！

耶和華啊！你所管教，用律法教導的人，是有福的。

我兒，不可輕看耶和華的管教，也不可厭惡他的責備；因為耶和華所愛的，他必責備，正如父親責備他喜愛的兒子一樣。

然而我們被主審判的時候，是受他的管教，免得和世人一同被定罪。

我又說：“你們這事作得不對。你們豈不應懷著敬畏我們神的心行事為人，免遭我們的仇敵外族人的毀謗嗎？

神啊！敵人辱罵你要到幾時呢？仇敵褻慢你的名要到永遠嗎？

“地上萬族中，我只揀選了你；因此，我必追討你們的一切罪。”

凡是我所愛的，我就責備管教；所以你要熱心，也要悔改。

如果他們違背我的律例，不遵守我的誡命，我就用杖責罰他們的過犯，用鞭責罰他們的罪孽。但我必不把我的慈愛從他身上收回，也必不背棄我的信實。

因為主所愛的，他必管教，他又鞭打所收納的每一個兒子。”
