你这样硬着心不肯悔改等于是为自己积蓄烈怒，上帝的烈怒在祂施行公义审判的那天必临到你。

你看见的这怪兽以前出现过，现今没有出现，将来要从无底坑上来，然后走向灭亡。那些住在地上、自创世以来名字没有记在生命册上的人，都因见到这只从前出现过、现今没有出现、将来会再出现的怪兽而感到惊奇。

天地都要消亡，但你永远长存。天地都会像外衣渐渐破旧，你必更换天地，如同更换衣服，天地都要消逝。

“因此，等着我吧，等着我指控的那一天吧。我已决定召集列国列邦，向他们倾倒我的烈怒，我的怒火必吞噬天下。这是耶和华说的。

那些渴望发财的人却陷入诱惑、网罗和许多愚蠢有害的欲望中，以致落入败坏和灭亡中。

我们的上帝来临，并非悄然无声，祂前面有烈火燃烧，周围有暴风怒吼。

我又看见一个白色的大宝座和坐在上面的那位。在祂面前，天地都逃避了，消失得无影无踪。

毫不惧怕敌人的恐吓。这清楚表明他们必灭亡，你们必得救，这是出于上帝。

所以我告诉你们，在审判之日，你们将比泰尔和西顿受更重的刑罚！

如果某地方的人不接待你们，不听你们传的道，你们在离开之前要跺掉脚上的尘土，作为对他们的警告！”

此外，所多玛、蛾摩拉及其附近城镇的人同样因为荒淫无度、沉溺于变态的情欲而遭到永火的刑罚。这些事都成为我们的警戒。

我告诉你们，在审判之日，人将为自己所说的每一句闲话负责，

那从前出现过、现今没有出现的怪兽是第八个王，他是七个王之一，也要走向灭亡。
