可愛者乎、爾既望此、則當殷勤奮勉、可於主前無玷無瑕、而得平康、

夫我良朋、既懷此殷望、則宜發憤為善、修身砥行、務使無瑕無玷俾可安心見主。

So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.

Therefore, dear friends, while you wait for these things, make every effort to be found at peace with Him without spot or blemish.

Therefore, dear friends, since you are waiting for these things, strive to be found at peace, without spot or blemish, when you come into his presence.

Therefore, beloved, seeing that you look for these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without defect and blameless in his sight.

Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again.

May he, as a result, make your hearts strong, blameless, and holy as you stand before God our Father when our Lord Jesus comes again with all his holy people. Amen.

So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.

For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return.

In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge,and knowledge with self control, and self control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness,and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.But those who fail to develop in this way are shortsighted or blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their old sins.So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away.

so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.

And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure.

He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns.

But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.

If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward.

“ Sovereign Lord, now let your servant die in peace, as you have promised.

“ So if someone tells you,‘ Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or,‘ Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it!

so also Christ was offered once for all time as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. He will come again, not to deal with our sins, but to bring salvation to all who are eagerly waiting for him.

Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.
