接着我看见一个新天新地，因为以前的天地都消逝了，海洋也不复存在了。

天地都要过去，但我的话永远长存。

因为你们已经清楚知道，将来有一天，主会突然来到，像贼在夜里忽然出现一样。

“看啊！我要像贼一样出其不意地来到。那警醒等候，看守自己衣裳，不致赤身行走蒙受羞辱的人有福了。”

同样，现在的天地要凭上帝的话语存留到不敬虔的人被审判和毁灭的日子，那时天地要被火焚烧。

“你们都知道，一家的主人若预先知道贼什么时候来，一定不会让贼入屋偷窃。

你们举目仰望穹苍，俯首观看大地吧。穹苍必像烟云消散，大地必像衣服一样渐渐破旧，地上的居民必像蚊蝇一样死亡。但我的救恩永远长存，我的公义永不废除。

我又看见一个白色的大宝座和坐在上面的那位。在祂面前，天地都逃避了，消失得无影无踪。

所以，你们要警醒，因为你们不知道你们的主会在哪一天来。你们都知道，如果一家的主人知道贼会在半夜几点来，就必警醒，不让贼入屋偷窃。

因此，要回想你以前所领受、所听见的教导，遵守这些教导，并且悔改。你若不警醒，我必在你意想不到的时候像贼一样忽然来到。

在祂面前，群山震动，丘陵消融。在祂面前，大地隆起，世界和世上的一切都战栗。

天地都要消亡，但你永远长存。天地都会像外衣渐渐破旧，你必更换天地，如同更换衣服，天地都要消逝。

天上的万象必融化，穹苍像书卷卷起；星辰陨落，像凋零的葡萄叶，又像枯落的无花果。

天地都要过去，我的话却永远长存。

主——万军之耶和华触摸大地，大地就消融，地上的人都要哀号；大地如埃及的尼罗河涨起退落。

“看啊，在耶和华那伟大而可畏的日子来临以前，我必差遣以利亚先知到你们那里。

你们要把这人交给撒旦去毁坏他的肉体，好使这人的灵魂在主耶稣再来的日子可以得救。

大地断裂、崩溃，剧烈震动。

耶和华说：“时候将到，五谷还未收完又该耕种了，葡萄还未踩完又该栽种了。甜酒从群山上滴下，在丘岭间流淌。

太可怕了！耶和华的日子近了，那是全能者施行毁灭的日子。

太阳要变得昏暗，月亮要变得血红。在耶和华伟大而可畏的日子来临以前，这些事都会发生。

千千万万的人聚集在审判谷，因为耶和华的日子要临到那里。

因为万军之耶和华已定了日子，要惩罚一切骄傲狂妄和自高自大的人，使他们沦为卑贱；

你们要在锡安吹响号角，在我的圣山上发出警讯，地上的居民都要战抖，因为耶和华的日子将要来临，已经近了。

天地都要消亡，但你永远长存。天地都会像衣服渐渐破旧，你要像卷外衣一样把天地卷起来。天地将如衣服一样被更换，但你永远不变，你的年日永无穷尽。”

至于不守本分、擅离岗位的天使，上帝也用锁链将他们永远囚禁在幽暗里，等候最后审判的大日子到来。

在天下之主耶和华面前，群山如蜡熔化。

列邦动荡，列国倾覆。上帝的声音使大地熔化。

群山在祂脚下熔化，犹如火中的蜡；山谷崩裂，岩石如水沿山坡倾泻。

因为受造之物处在虚空之下并非出于情愿，而是出于上帝的旨意。
