蓋此義者居其中、且見且聞、以其不法之行、日傷公義之心、

蓋義者與彼同處、見其敗亂矩矱、無日不憂、

蓋此義人居於彼中、目見耳聞其非法之事、傷其義心、

蓋羅德以正直之身、處於群小之中、所見所聞、莫非橫行無道、中心惄焉如擣、無有寧日也。

( for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)—

That good man lived among them day after day. He saw and heard the evil things they were doing. They were breaking God’s laws. And the godly spirit of Lot was deeply troubled.

Yes, Lot was a righteous man who was tormented in his soul by the wickedness he saw and heard day after day.

我看见诡诈的人就讨厌，因为他们不遵守你的话语。

我的眼泪像河水涌流，因为人都不谨守你的律法。

对他说：“你要走遍耶路撒冷全城，那些因城中所行的一切可憎的事而叹息悲哀的人，你要在他们的额上画个记号。”

义人在恶人面前屈服，好像混浊了的水泉、污染了的水井。

现在我们称骄傲的人为有福，作恶的人得建立；他们虽然试探神，却得以逃脱。’”那时，敬畏耶和华的人彼此谈论，耶和华也留意细听；在他面前有记录册，记录那些敬畏耶和华和思念他名的人。万军之耶和华说：“在我施行作为的日子，他们要属我，作特别的产业；我必怜恤他们，好像人怜恤那服事自己的儿子一样。

我心中迫切如同火烧，因为我的敌人忘记了你的话。

义人得胜的时候，有极大的荣耀；恶人兴起的时候，人就躲避。

你们要从我的圣所开始，把老年人、少年人、少女、孩童和妇女都杀尽灭绝，只是那些额上有记号的人，你们都不可伤害。”于是他们从殿前那些长老开始杀戮。

要知道律法本来不是为义人设立的，而是为那些无法无天和放荡不羁的、不敬虔和犯罪的、不圣洁和世俗的、弒父母和杀人的、

所以你们应当彼此认罪，互相代求，这样你们就可以痊愈。义人祈祷所发出的力量，是大有功效的。
