百夫長遂引之見千夫長曰、囚者保羅請我、求我引此少者見爾、有事告爾、千夫長援其手、攜至僻處、問曰、有何告我、

眾必逐爾不與人偕居、使與野獸同居、食草若牛、如此歷七期、使爾知至上者、主掌人間之國、隨意以國賜人、

僕居主所選之民中、其民甚眾、不可勝數、

受膏王古列、為我耶和華所立、我扶其右手、使列國降服其前、使諸王柔弱無力、使諸邑門啟於其前、不得閉之、我對之如是曰、

尊榮非從東來、非從西來、亦非從曠野而至、

當頌美主爾之天主、因喜悅爾、使爾登以色列之國位、主恆愛以色列、故立爾為王、秉公行義、以聽其訟、

在彼祭司撒督與先知拿單當膏之立為以色列王、且吹角曰、願所羅門王萬歲、

此由守者所定、由聖者所決、使天下人知至上者、主掌人間之國、隨意以國賜人、亦能以人間卑微者立為國主、

既心驕氣傲、剛愎自用、乃黜王位、去其尊榮、被人驅逐、不與人偕居、食草如牛、為天降之露所濕、待知至上之天主、主掌人間之國、隨意立人為國主、

主更變時序世代、廢王立王、以智慧賜智慧者、以知識賜明哲人、

爾往告耶羅波安曰、主以色列之天主如是云、我舉爾於民中、立爾為我民以色列之君、
