约兰看见耶户的时候，就说：“耶户，平安吗？”耶户说：“你的母亲耶洗别的淫行和邪术这么多，还有平安吗？”

约兰见耶户就说：“耶户啊，平安吗？”耶户说：“你母亲耶洗别的淫行邪术这样多，焉能平安呢？”

约兰见耶户就说：“耶户，平安吗？”耶户说：“你母亲耶洗别的淫行邪术这样多，怎么能平安呢？”

约兰见耶户就说：“耶户，平安吗？”耶户说：“你母亲耶洗别的淫行邪术这样多，怎么能平安呢？”

约兰问他：“耶户，你为平安而来吗？”耶户答道：“国中到处都是你母亲耶洗别的偶像和邪术，怎能平安呢？”

約蘭見耶戶就說：「耶戶啊，平安嗎？」耶戶說：「你母親耶洗別的淫行邪術這樣多，焉能平安呢？」

約蘭見耶戶就說：「耶戶，平安嗎？」耶戶說：「你母親耶洗別的淫行邪術這樣多，怎麼能平安呢？」

約蘭見耶戶就說：「耶戶，平安嗎？」耶戶說：「你母親耶洗別的淫行邪術這樣多，怎麼能平安呢？」

約蘭問他：「耶戶，你為平安而來嗎？」耶戶答道：「國中到處都是你母親耶洗別的偶像和邪術，怎能平安呢？」

約蘭看見耶戶的時候，就說：“耶戶，平安嗎？”耶戶說：“你的母親耶洗別的淫行和邪術這麼多，還有平安嗎？”

約蘭一見耶戶、就說：『耶戶啊，平安麼？』耶戶說：『甚麼呀？你母親耶洗別的淫行和邪術這麼多、還有平安麼？』

約蘭見耶戶、則曰、耶戶歟、安否、曰、爾母耶洗別、淫行巫術若是之多、焉得安乎、

約藍見耶戶、則曰耶戶、爾為平康而至乎。曰、王母耶洗別、狥私欲、拜偶像、從巫覡、若是之多、焉得平康乎。

約蘭見耶戶則曰、耶戶平安否、曰、爾母耶洗別之邪淫巫術、如是之多、焉能平安乎、

When Joram saw Jehu he asked,“ Have you come in peace, Jehu?”“ How can there be peace,” Jehu replied,“ as long as all the idolatry and witchcraft of your mother Jezebel abound?”

When Joram saw Jehu he asked,“ Have you come here in peace, Jehu?”“ Your mother Jezebel worships statues of gods,” Jehu replied.“ She also worships evil powers. The evil things she does have spread everywhere. As long as all of that goes on, how can there be peace?”

And when Joram saw Jehu, he said,“ Is it peace, Jehu?” He answered,“ What peace can there be, so long as the whorings and the sorceries of your mother Jezebel are so many?”

King Joram demanded,“ Do you come in peace, Jehu?” Jehu replied,“ How can there be peace as long as the idolatry and witchcraft of your mother, Jezebel, are all around us?”

When Joram saw Jehu he asked,“ Do you come in peace, Jehu?” He answered,“ What peace can there be as long as there is so much prostitution and sorcery from your mother Jezebel?”

When Joram saw Jehu, he said,“ Is your intention peace, Jehu?” And he answered,“ What‘ peace,’ so long as your mother Jezebel’s acts of prostitution and witchcraft are so many?”

Now it happened, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said,“ Is it peace, Jehu?” So he answered,“ What peace, as long as the harlotries of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft are so many?”

And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?

When Joram saw Jehu he asked,“ Do you come in peace, Jehu?” He answered,“ What peace can there be as long as there is so much prostitution and witchcraft from your mother Jezebel?”

And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said,[ Is it] peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts[ are so] many?

When Jehoram saw Jehu, he asked,“ Is everything all right, Jehu?” He replied,“ How can everything be all right as long as your mother Jezebel promotes idolatry and pagan practices?”

When Joram saw Jehu, he said,“ Is it peace, Jehu?” He answered,“ What peace, so long as the prostitution of your mother Jezebel and her witchcraft abound?”

暗利的儿子亚哈行耶和华看为恶的事，比他以前所有的王更厉害。亚哈犯了尼八的儿子耶罗波安所犯的罪，还以为是小事。他又娶了西顿王谒巴力的女儿耶洗别作妻子，去服事巴力，敬拜巴力。他在撒玛利亚建筑巴力庙，又在庙里为巴力立了一座祭坛。亚哈又做了亚舍拉，亚哈所行的，惹耶和华以色列的神发怒，比他以前所有的以色列王更厉害。

灯的亮光，在你中间决不能再照耀了！新郎新娘的声音，在你中间决不能再听到了！你的商人一向都是地上的大人物，万国都因你的邪术受了迷惑。

却随从了以色列诸王的道路，使犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民行邪淫，好像亚哈家行邪淫一样；又杀了你父家比你良善的众兄弟；

都因妓女多有淫行，施邪术的美丽女巫，藉着她的淫行诱惑列国，藉着她的邪术欺骗万族。

因为各国都喝她淫乱烈怒的酒醉了；地上的君王与她行淫，世上的商人因她奢华挥霍就发了财。”

只是从来没有人像亚哈的；他受了他妻子耶洗别的引诱，出卖了他自己，行耶和华看为恶的事。

于是耶洗别以亚哈的名义写了一些信，盖上王的印章，然后把这些信送给那些住在拿伯城里的长老和贵胄。她在信上写着说：“你们要宣告禁食，使拿伯坐在民间的首位上。又叫两个匪徒坐在拿伯的对面，作见证控告他说：‘你曾经咒诅神和君王’；然后把他拉出去，用石头把他打死。”

耶洗别除灭耶和华众先知的时候，俄巴底带走了一百个先知，每五十个人一组，分散藏在山洞里，又用饼和水供养他们。

我创造嘴唇的果子：平安，平安，归给远处的人，也归给近处的人。”耶和华说：“我要医治他。”恶人却像翻腾的海，不能平静，海中的水不住翻起污秽和淤泥来。我的神说：“恶人必没有平安。”

于是有一个骑兵去迎见耶户，说：“王这样问：‘平安吗？’”耶户说：“平安不平安和你有什么关系呢？转到我后面去吧！”那哨兵又报告：“使者到了他们那里，却没有回来。”

现在你要派人去召集以色列众人和四百五十个巴力的先知，以及耶洗别供养的四百个亚舍拉的先知，都上迦密山来见我。”

然而有一件事我要责备你，就是你容让那自称是先知的妇人耶洗别，教导和引诱我的众仆人行淫乱，吃祭过偶像的食物。我曾给她时间，让她悔改，她却不肯为她的淫行悔改。看哪，我要把她抛在大患难的床上；那些跟她行淫乱的人，如果不为她的行为悔改，我也要把他们抛在大患难中。我必以死亡击杀她的儿女；众教会就都知道我是察验人肺腑心肠的，我要照着你们的行为报应你们各人。

亚哈把以利亚所行的一切，和他用刀杀死众先知的一切事，都告诉了耶洗别。耶洗别就差派一个使者去见以利亚说：“明天这个时候，如果我不使你的性命，像那些人一样，愿神明惩罚我，并且加倍惩罚我。”

那妇人穿着紫色和朱红色的衣服，佩戴着金子、宝石和珍珠的装饰，手里拿着金杯，盛满了可憎的物，和她淫乱的污秽。她额上写着一个名号：“奥秘，大巴比伦，地上的淫妇和可憎的物之母。”
