“ Hitch up my chariot,” Joram ordered. And when it was hitched up, Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah rode out, each in his own chariot, to meet Jehu. They met him at the plot of ground that had belonged to Naboth the Jezreelite.

“ Get my chariot ready,” King Joram ordered. When it was ready, he rode out. Ahaziah, the king of Judah, rode out with him. Each of them was in his own chariot. They both went to meet Jehu. They met him at the piece of land that had belonged to Naboth from Jezreel.

Joram said,“ Make ready.” And they made ready his chariot. Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah set out, each in his chariot, and went to meet Jehu, and met him at the property of Naboth the Jezreelite.

“ Quick! Get my chariot ready!” King Joram commanded. Then King Joram of Israel and King Ahaziah of Judah rode out in their chariots to meet Jehu. They met him at the plot of land that had belonged to Naboth of Jezreel.

“ Get the chariot ready!” Joram shouted, and they got it ready. Then King Joram of Israel and King Ahaziah of Judah set out, each in his own chariot, and met Jehu at the plot of land of Naboth the Jezreelite.

Then Joram said,“ Get ready.” And they made his chariot ready. Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out to meet Jehu and found him on the property of Naboth the Jezreelite.

Then Joram said,“ Make ready.” And his chariot was made ready. Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot; and they went out to meet Jehu, and met him on the property of Naboth the Jezreelite.

And Joram said, Make ready. And they made ready his chariot. And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out to meet Jehu, and found him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.

“ Harness!” Joram shouted, and they harnessed his chariot. Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah set out, each in his own chariot, and met Jehu at the plot of land of Naboth the Jezreelite.

And Joram said, Make ready. And his chariot was made ready. And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out against Jehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.

Jehoram ordered,“ Hitch up my chariot.” When his chariot had been hitched up, King Jehoram of Israel and King Ahaziah of Judah went out in their respective chariots to meet Jehu. They met up with him in the plot of land that had once belonged to Naboth of Jezreel.

Joram said,“ Get ready!” They got his chariot ready. Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out to meet Jehu, and found him on Naboth the Jezreelite’s land.

耶斯列人拿伯在耶斯列有一个葡萄园，靠近撒玛利亚王亚哈的王宫。亚哈对拿伯说：“把你的葡萄园让给我，我可以用作菜园，因为你的葡萄园靠近我的王宫。我要把一个更好的葡萄园与你交换。如果你喜欢，我也可以按市价给你银子。”可是拿伯对亚哈说：“耶和华绝对不容许我把祖业给你。”亚哈因为耶斯列人拿伯对他说：“我不能把祖业给你”，就闷闷不乐回到宫里。他躺在床上，脸朝向内，也不吃饭。他的妻子耶洗别进来见他，问他说：“你为什么心里这么烦闷，连饭也不吃呢？”亚哈回答她说：“因为我对耶斯列人拿伯说：‘把你的葡萄园让给我，我付你银子；或者你喜欢的话，我可以用另一个葡萄园与你交换’；可是他说：‘我不能把我的葡萄园让给你。’”他的妻子耶洗别对他说：“你现在不是统治以色列的王吗？只管起来吃饭，心神畅快，我必能把耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园给你。”

亚哈谢去见约兰，就遇了害，这原是出于神；因为他去到以后，就和约兰一同出去攻击宁示的孙子耶户。这耶户就是耶和华所膏的，为要除灭亚哈家。

亚哈问：“藉着谁呢？”先知回答：“耶和华这样说：‘藉着跟从各省省长的年轻人。’”亚哈又问：“谁先开战呢？”先知说：“是你。”

拉吉的居民哪！要用快马套车，这就是锡安子民（“子民”原文作“女子”）罪恶的开端；因为以色列的过犯，都在你那里找到了。

耶户对副官毕甲说：“把他抬起来，丢在耶斯列人拿伯的田地里，因为我还记得你我一起驾车跟随他父亲亚哈的时候，耶和华曾宣告了这些有关亚哈的话：‘昨天我实在看见了拿伯的血和他儿子们的血（这是耶和华的宣告）；我要在这块田地上报应你（这是耶和华的宣告）。’现在你要按着耶和华的话，把他抬起来丢在田里。”

摩西从加低斯派使者去见以东王说：“你的兄弟以色列这样说：你知道我们遭遇的一切困难，

耶洗别听见拿伯已经被人用石头打死了，就对亚哈说：“你起来，去占有那耶斯列人拿伯从前不肯收银子给你的葡萄园，因为拿伯现在没有命了，他已经死了。”亚哈听见拿伯已经死了，就起来，下到耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园那里去，要占有那园。那时，耶和华的话临到提斯比人以利亚说：“你起来，下去迎见住在撒玛利亚的以色列王亚哈，他现在正在耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园里。他下到那里去，是要占有那个园。你要对他说：‘耶和华这样说：你杀了人，又占有他的产业吗？’你又要对他说：‘耶和华这样说：狗在什么地方舔拿伯的血，也必在什么地方舔你的血。’”
